Chapter 60: Two Mysterious People

Just as Eric and Chloe left the spot, four armed men came rushing towards the place. Looking around, they saw the body of their comrade on the floor and couldn't help but frown.

While on the way, they saw the bodies of the other five too which made them angry, and yet now, another was dead. It seemed like the person beside the girl was very skilled; they had to be a lot more careful.

"Let's go." The man who seemed to be the leader ordered and they immediately left as they continued to go after Eric and Chloe even though they didn't know which direction they had taken.

Chloe held onto Eric's neck as she snuggled closer towards him subconsciously afraid that she was going to fall while Eric sprinted across the forest as though he was not carrying anything.

After a while, Eric suddenly stopped and then placed Chloe on the floor.

"What are we going to do now?" Chloe asked as she looked around feeling scared.
