Henry was still on the phone with Jacob.
Jacob acted reluctant at first. "You know that is not my line of work. I am not a political reporter, but a business reporter. " He said to Henry."I know, but I need you to do this for me," Henry said to him."I am sorry, I can't." He told Henry."Please, I will pay you. " Henry said to him. "How much are you going to pay?" He asked Henry."Any amount you want. Just do the job." Henry replied him."Okay, I have a price. " Jacob said. "One million. " He added.Henry was shocked. He thought that Jacob would demand ten or twenty thousand dollars, or maybe one hundred thousand at most, but a whopping one million. That was hilarious."That is too much Jacob. " Henry said. "I will give you a hundred thousand," Henry said to Jacob, hoping to win him over."That is my price. You either pay or there is no business between us." Jacob said, holding firm to his last price.Henry then saw that Jacob was sThe gate man looked closely at the ID card as he turned it. "It says here that you are a business reporter. What brings you to a political press talk?" The gate man asked him. "Well, I am a business reporter as you have seen, but my...company assigned me because our team of political reporters are out of a country for an international politics press conference." He said to the gate man. This was a quick lie he made up to cover up, so he would be let in. He was a reporter and one good thing about reporter was that they could tell the best lies to get them into wherever they wanted to be. "Okay." The gate man said. He believed it. There was nothing to not believe there. After all, the political reporters at paper line went on a trip outside the country. They did leave a few in the country, so that they would represent them if any political event came up. When the driver remembered this, he said to him. "But there are some paper line reporters inside. " "I know, they're two. Two
"Good afternoon all," Leo said to the reporters. "Good afternoon." They replied him. The all looked at them, ready for him to say something, ready to jump on the news like they were vampires hungry for blood. "You can all proceed with your questions. " He said to them. Immediately, all the reporters started asking questions, all at once. The hall becamea rowdy and no one could he's the next person talk. The scene was becoming too uncomfortable for Leo. "Hey!" He yelled and they all went quiet. "Why don't we handle to day like mature folks?" He asked them all. It was true. They were behaving like animals and that way, nothing would be achieved. "Why do journalists like to behave this way?!" He asked himself. "Maybe it is just the professions" he told himself. The profession kind of always kept their enthusiasm high and their blood hot whenever they saw a story. They also had to be sharp, so another journalist wouldn't scoop the stor
Jacob stood up and adjusted his dress. By this time, Steve was already fed up. He thought Henry's person was done and nothing still happened. He was ready to turn the TV off and go back to work. Henry became more excited. He held his feet hard, ready for the questions he would throw at the prime minister. Leo thought it was just another normal reporter. He was expecting a good afternoon sir or some kind of greeting before the questioning began only to hear a while different thing. "Did you make the princess fall for you so her father would give you the position of the prime minister?" Jacob asked. Leo was shocked. Steve turned back to his TV which he almost turned off. Henry's eyes widened. He was expecting strong questions, but none like this. The king's jaw dropped in shock of the question thrown at Leo. "I do not understand." Leo asked him, trying to understand from which part of hell that question and from. "I said. Did you make the princess fall in love with you just so
Henry sat back in disappointment. Jacob was not able to deliver. Leo had successfully cleared his name and the world took his words. Rather than diminishing him, the press talk made him more loved by the people. Henry knew he was a failure at this point. His first plan for redemption did not work and now he had to go for the second. Jacob went back to his car, feeling disappointed. He picked up his phone and called Henry. After a while of ringing, Henry answered the call. "Hello." He said to Henry. "Hello," Henry replied. "I know you saw the news. " He said. "I did " Henry replied. "You failed me," Henry added. "I tried my best. It just was not enough " Jacob explained to Henry. "I understand," Henry said to him. "I am sorry," Jacob told Henry, then ended the call. Just then, Jacob's glass was knocked by his workmates who saw him at the press talk.He wound the glass down, so he could communicate with them. "What the hell were you thinking, coming here to ask such questions? "
She was still on the phone with him. "I will be on my way." She said, then dressed up and left for outside. Henry just arrived at the palace. When he stepped out of his car, he saw Prince Colton. Prince Colton was heading out. Henry tried to hide from him, but could not. "You there!" He said to Henry. Henry turned to him, shocked. "My prince." He said to Colton. "What are you doing at my home?" He asked Henry. He was disgusted by Henry's sight. "I came to see the princess." He said. "I saw how you screwed up today with your reporter person," Colton said to him. "I hope you do not do the same with my sister because that is like your last chance to prove yourself," Colton said again, then walked away. Henry took a deep breath. He was way older than the prince, but he was scared of the prince because of the power that the prince had and the things the prince could do to him. He knew the prince had lost all respect for him after the incident, where Charlie talked down on him.
Henry was shocked that his wife was still communicating with Leo even after he locked her up. He was very pissed but did not want to make it obvious to the princess that he was. He just maintained that he care less about it. "I think they have some kind of professional connection since she also works with the government." He said, trying to act nice so she wouldn't notice his boiling anger within. "Maybe. I do not know. " She replied. "I did not even care to ask him what they were talking about, " She said. She also did not want to tell him the real reason she followed her fiance. It was not because she thought he would make out with a man or anything like that. She did because she suspected that he was still seeing Clara and thought that Clara would follow him to the country and they would be together again. That was why she followed her husband. Unfortunately, she had nothing against Clara because Clara did not even leave the country. She dared not tell Henry this because
After Prince Colton left the palace, he went to a place, not any ordinary place, but a place where he could find killers. He entered their layer and went to their boss. These were the people he always worked with when he wanted to waste someone's life. He went and sat with the boss, who knew him. Many of them knew him. He had been doing business with them for a while. "My prince my prince." The leader said to him. "Capone." The prince called out to the leader. The leader was smoking, just like many others there were. Capone took out a stick and lighted for the prince. The prince took it from him and smoked it. Now, they were in sync. "And to what do I owe a royal visit," Capone said. "I have a job for you. " The prince said. "Obviously," Capone said. "Nothing brings a man like you to a place like this if it is not necessary," Capone said. The prince smiled. They now had to get to business. "Let's get to business shall we?" The prince said. "Tell me, my prince, what
It was already evening. It was time for him to leave for the airport. He quickly went to his bathroom and had his bathe. When he was done bathing, he stepped out of the house, and heading back to his room, he heard strange noises and knew that something was up. Capo and his men had entered the house slowly with their guns. They had silencers around to make sure that there was no sound when they shot Charlie dead. They hid by his door in the sitting room, waiting for him to enter, so they could take him down at once. Hearing mild footsteps as he entered the bedroom, he stopped. "Who could that be," he said to himself. He gets them to move through the sitting room. Normally, he did not see anyone or anything happening outside his bedroom, but hInstincts told him it was someone. Because first, Steve or the prince or even Henry would want him dead. He was a bad man and knew all the schemes of other bad people. He waited in his room to observe. he did not want to panic about
