Zdk's POV

“Wait, what's going on here? Am I just squinting at what I'm seeing now?” I heard Cloud say when he caught up with Alpha and me while he was teaching me to lift gym equipment more easily.

“Looks like you'll finish your first training in just a week.” Demon said when I suddenly lifted the barbell with a weight of 45 lbs (20 kgs.) It is almost equal to the weight lifted by Olympian weightlifters. Their eyes widened when they saw what I did, even though I couldn't believe that I was able to lift such a heavy thing. I could barely carry a bag of rice before, but now it's almost like a piece of paper. I couldn't feel the weight of it, and it was as if it suddenly did magic in my hand.

“I think he can finish the first training in just one day,” Sexy said as she grinned. I even tried to lift some equipment there to make sure it wasn't all just a dream or an illusion. But regardless of what heavy things I carry, it's just like a piece of paper to me. I don't know how I did it or how I lifted it, where I just followed every piece of advice Alpha gave me.

Therefore, I urgently came to him and hugged him tightly while repeatedly kissing him on his cheek. He was disgusted at what I did, so he pushed me away from him. However, I turned my attention to some other equipment there to try it out. After all, I have never tried to go to the gym or go to these kinds of places before because I don't dare to use their equipment.

I didn't realize the time, and I didn't notice that I was alone there. Dusk had almost overtaken me, and I was still inside building my body. I was stunned when I suddenly heard Demon's voice, and then he came to me.

“That's right, don't abuse your body muscles too much.” He said that's why I let go of the two dumbbells I was holding. That's when I realized that my body was wet with so much sweat, and then I also felt hungry because I hadn't eaten for a while.

That's why Demon and I went out and while we were going down the stairs, my attention was aroused by a woman screaming from not far away were a male player was in front of her and was pointing a gun at her. It seems that this girl is just a beginner and doesn't know much about the world she has entered, so I immediately approached her to help her.

Unexpectedly, a sword suddenly appeared in my hand, but since I didn't have enough experience with using it, it acted on its own, almost out of my control. I cut off his hand with the gun, causing the woman to be even more afraid. That was not what I was planning to do, the sword I was holding moved on its own and no matter how much I tried to stop it, I couldn't stop it.

Until the sword entered the stomach of the man, what was against my will. My eyes widened in shock, and then I pulled out the sword from him. He spewed blood and suddenly, his whole body burned until he was reduced to ashes.

“Congratulations, player Zdk. You are now at level four.” The high-tech watch said that, and suddenly the sword disappeared from my hand while I was staring at my palms that were stained with blood. I could hardly believe that it happened so quickly and that the man in front of me died just as quickly.

“Are you alright, miss?” I turn to her, but she suddenly retreated and ran away from me as if she were so scared of me. Demon came to me and put one of his hands on my shoulder.

“You'll get used to it.” The only thing he said to me, then he walked away while I was still standing there dumbfounded by what happened.

Now I understand what Demon meant about controlling that sword. Training is crucial for a beginner like me because if I don't undergo strict training I might just repeat what happened earlier.

Almost everyone in the dorm is asleep, but I'm still awake and can't sleep. So, I thought of going outside for a while to get some fresh air. But in the other room, I noticed that Cloud was still awake where he was seriously reading a book. I looked at my watch and noticed that it was almost midnight, but he still managed to read a book.

“Is he a psycho? What is he doing at this hour? Doesn't his eyes hurt for always reading a book?” I whispered to myself when he suddenly turned in my direction and noticed that I was staring at him, so he immediately closed the door.

“That's his way of making him sleepy.” I turned to the voice I heard from behind me, where I realized it was Lily.

“You're still awake,” I said and she nodded her head.

“You too, why are you still awake? Often at times like this, you are already sound asleep. Is it because of what happened to you earlier? Demon mentioned to us what happened to you outside paradise.” She said as we both walked out of the dorm building.

“Maybe that's why I don't get sleepy. Why haven't you slept yet and what are you doing out here?” I asked her as I turn to her where I noticed her beautiful green eyes.

Are those eyes of hers real, or just part of her costumes? While I was staring at her, I didn't realize that she had been talking for a while. So, I was just surprised when she suddenly turned to me with a look of astonishment on her face.

“I guess you can't hear me because your attention is something else, am I right?” She said, so I scratched the back of my head because of embarrassment to her.

“I'm sorry.” I just replied to her, she smiled at the same time and turned her head.

“All right.” She said, and we stopped when we both got out. Together, we looked up at the sky, where no stars or moon could be seen.

“It used to be my favorite thing of all to look up at night and watch the stars. But now I can't do that anymore because we're in a fantasy world.” She said with a smile when I suddenly turned my gaze to her, and I couldn't understand why I was unable to stop staring at her all the time.

I must admit that Lily is pretty and a simple girl. However, I feel that she is also hiding something that only a few people know about. I can see in her eyes how mysterious she is, but she tries to hide it with a smile on her lips.

While she was talking, I looked down at her lips and she happened to turn to me. Therefore, we looked at each other for a few seconds until I was tempted to kiss her on the lips. I slowly brought my face closer to her while she slowly closed her eyes. I was just about to kiss her, but suddenly, I felt the presence of someone who was in front of us now while she was looking at us. Furthermore, I slowly turned to her and my eyes just widened in shock when I saw Celine, or named Winter in this world standing in front of us and disgusting staring at me. In my shock, I accidentally pushed Lily away from me, and with the force of my push, she sat on the ground with an angry expression on her face.

“Celine, I mean Winter. What are you doing here?” I asked her while she peeked behind me.

“You remember me?” She said at the same time I scratched the back of my head and nodded. “Is Demon still awake? I would like to talk to him.” She added, and I was about to speak, but suddenly, she entered our dorm. I was going to stop her, but my attention turned to Lily who was frowning and looking at me angrily. I was about to help her stand up, but she just ignored me and then went inside without even looking at me or listening to my explanation.

It's all your fault, dumbass. I whispered to myself as I'm hitting my mouth. Then I went inside where I found Winter and Demon talking seriously. I stopped walking when Demon suddenly turned to me, but he also turned back immediately as he held Winter by the hand and walked away.
