Chapter nine

(The Dark path)

Nothing changed, just the red haired girl missing her brother badly and sulked up in a room given to her thinking of their memories and times together. She was able to convince them that she’s not a threat, she explained everything and how they got there to them.

And at the mention that she was from the human world they got interested in her, minutes later people were actually asking how that place is like. Not long she was treated like one, already has a room, and everything she needed.

Kale himself got back to the palace alongside the queen, they talked about how he went through with what he did, having the whole city know what he is. He went back to his room before remembering there is a girl he saved and put in care of he don’t even remember. Standing up he dash out in search of the girl or to ask her whereabout.

Amidst somewhere, he could be seen walking aimlessly heading north with no particular destination in his head, he haven’t gotten back to the gate neither do it seems like he actually have left the city, he can’t help but wish he actually had stay back and listen to his sister.

His attention was diverted abruptly when a painful howl gripped his supernatural hearing coming from the far end below the north side he was following.

Activating his super speed he dash there with the thought someone is in need of his help, running like a wind, in seconds he was found in the middle of the woods looking around, his gaze unfocused.

The same howl, howl again this time louder coming deeper from the woods afar still from where he is, he peeped feeling unsure before trailing where the sound is coming from.

He got there to the place with the howl clearer, igniting his anxiousness trying to digest where he is and what he might be into.

Under the sun where he is before, this place lies beneath darkness, the sun fading far away from the vicinity like it a taboo if is near it. Deeper and darker darkness clouded this particular narrow path, the actually place the painful howls where coming from, calling for a desperate help.

Like he’s being controlled or forced to move, he drag his feet touring straight into the darkness, as if being hypnotized he walk deeper not looking or turning back.

Stepping the path and finally into the darkness the whole place disappeared, like it was never there. The woods looking like it is before, the sun shining brightly above it.

If I continue missing my brother or letting this very unusual feeling take over me I won’t find the answers I’m actually looking for, and me sulked up hiding in this room won’t help either.

I got up opening the door, I first peep out my head looking right and left before coming out in my full body.

I close the door turning left to see this guy descending my way, not my way, my face. Before I could doge we both were already kissing the floor, I kissing the floor actually, with my back, and him with nothing, he just fell on top of me like a log with no attachment; do they have attachment tho.

“You blind or something?” I pushed him off me angrily not caring about the hiss that left his mouth due to him hitting his forehead on the floor.

I stand up dusting myself ready to fight this whoever for making me this dirty. “Why the fuck will you do that, don’t you see me or you just don’t have a brain?” I grab his collar shaking him vigorously by the collar.

“Uhm—- what do you mean by fuck?” He asked dumbly with the most sweetest voice ever, I mean calmest, I mean very low and gentle. Getting what he just asked, what did he mean by what did I mean by fuck, he’s gotta be kidding me.

“What did I mean by fuck?” He nodded with a confusing gaze focused on me.

“Gawd would I have to deal with this stupid naiveness!” I slapped my head in frustration. I can’t believe someone in this modernized beautiful city doesn’t know what fuck mean, yeah the city is beautiful, I was taken for a tour.

“Who are you and where are you going to?” He asked also standing up, wow this boy is somehow, like he’s confusingly cute, his little very short hair combed, his dark round face looking at me expecting an answer to his question.

“You don’t know the meaning of fuck so how am I sure you’d know even where am going.” I fold my arms leaning on my door entrance.

“I live here you know!”

“I don’t even know if I should tell you, I mean I just met you, in the worst way ever.” I groaned really out of frustration, this is just not me, that why I miss my brother.

“Why can’t I read your minds?” He asked dumbly again.

“What did you just say?”

“I said why can’t I read your mind, it’s like there’s this burning force frying my brain anytime I try peeking there.” He explained fueling my anger more.

“Who the hell are you!” I bursted. “Tryna read my mind with no permission, how dare you.” I lash angrily launching a punch at him, surprisingly he didn’t move back because my punch was hanging one inch close to his face.

With an awed face I push the punch harder to meet him but all to no avail. “No one can actually hurt me without my permission, I mean hurt, like deliberately!” He said with a smile.

“Who are you?” I asked really shocked.

“I’m a witch.” He replied his expression changing to a blank one.

“Huhhh? A witch, you mean a wizard.” I said not getting him, it’s not possible for a male to be a witch, they’re wizards while the females are witches, I definitely know that.

“Nope, I’m a male witch, an elemental male witch.” He stated blankly as if something switched in him.

“Why the cold face now I thought we’re becoming friends, and can you please unfreeze or de whatever you do to my punch!” I pointed sounding impatient.

“Why should I?”

“Because if you don’t I will kill you.” And as if that statement is a cure my hand dropped freely again, I caught it twisting it around to free the stiff tiny bones.

“How did you do that?” He asked surprised, he did it didn’t he.

“You freed me idiot!”

“I didn’t, neither did I plan to.”

“Then who… don’t care I need to be somewhere , look I need your help?” I asked acting like I don’t see his weird suspicious gaze on me.

“What help?” He speak lowly with tiny bloods running down his nose. “Hey you okay I quickly held him before he fall.

“I’m fine, I’m fine.” He shake my hands off. “What help?” He asked again.

“I need answers, I don’t know what I am apart from a thingy showing up in my mind saying she’s my wolf and since then never talked again, alongside me being able to control and manipulate fire at it highest peak!” I finished with a heavy sigh.

“You’re really different, I mean how did you exist in the so called human world?” He asked hissing in pain I believe due to how he rub his forehead constantly.

“How did you know that?” I asked suspiciously.

“I manage to break into your mind in time to know you’re of no harm and from the human world, I promise that all I knew, besides my brain almost turn dry ashes if I didn’t stop.”

“So you mean you still went ahead and read my-“

“Do you still need my help or about to get mad on something unreasonable!” He cut me off rudely.

“Saved for later, now how can you help me?”

“I might be able to help but I want something also in return.” He gave a cranky smile.

“What!” I almost shouted.

“I saw in your mind you in this dress like, in a very shiny dark places with many people carrying whatever in their hands, and you moving your body somehow, please tell me all that is and gist me about human world really!” The emotionless stoic blank face can’t believe found turn to a puppy stuffed so cute face. I nearly kissed him if not his face returning back to blank.

So he don’t know what it means to party, and I thought he saw nothing, who the heck is this guy really.

“Help me first.”

“There’s gonna be a ride, a really rough and windy one, a scary tough one, but follow me!” He said walking away expecting me to follow, which I did.

We didn’t exactly go outside but back to the place where he had a moment with the queen that resulted in a girl called out to come meet us. Okay why is it beautiful and cute things that filled this place, I can’t describe this girl’s beauty, her long hair to her tiny not small body. All I know is she’s drop dead gorgeous.

We got to this field when he step forward rubbing a certain place on his body, minutes later I could hear heavy flaps of wings. The thing become visible in shape of a dragon, I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!

The girl beside screaming resulting in my ear vibrating in pain……..
