CHAPTER 39

Morning at the Trillionaire's mansion, Mildred laid in her bed, enjoying her beauty sleep.

All arms stretched out, as she turned from her left to her right, looking for a comfy spot.

She settles with her right side, slowly opening her eyes to the noise of a knock on her door.

Mildred, now awake, stared at her room door, as the knock came in once again.

"My lady, are you awake? " A maid called Mildred from outside the bedroom.

Mildred sluggishly sat up, stretching out her arms and giving out a light yawn.

"My lady? "

"I'm awake. Coming," Mildred said, navigating her attention to the door.

Gently, she pulled herself out of her bed and walked up to the door. She opens it to find a maid standing outside with a tray of Mildred's breakfast.

"Your breakfast, my lady, " The maid said.

Mildred, looking at the meal, smiles at the maid and asked, "Thank you, but why bring it here? "

"The Master instructed that we serve you your breakfast in bed, " The maid reported.
