CHAPTER 48

After a beautiful and long night at the restaurant, Savador and Mildred where on their way back to the mansion.

Inside, Mildred was already sleeping with her head on Savador's shoulder.

Savador, who was wide awake, held her closely to himself, petting her on the head.

He smiled, thinking of all the happiness Mildred displayed at the restaurant. It was a beautiful sight to behold.

At last, the cars pulled up into the mansion, parking right at the entrance.

Seeing they have arrived, Savador carefully patted Mildred to awaken from her sleep.

"Hmm? " She moaned out with her dimming eyes. Trying to scan where they were.

"We're back home, " Savador said, notifying her.

"Oh, we are? Goodness, when did I fall asleep?" Mildred asked, sitting up with her hand rubbing her forehead.

"I was surprised when you slept off suddenly. I hope you're okay? " Savador asked, touching her on the shoulder.

She nodded with a response, "I'm fine. I guess I'm just tired. "
