CHAPTER 60

At Ferman's company, Anna, his secretary, sat in her office, feeling so upset.

Her eyes all wet from the tears she has been shedding since. She felt down and tired of Ferman's constant mission to take out the Montreal's.

"He just don't want to listen to me, " She sniffed, wiping her eyes.

"I'm just tired of constantly telling him what to do. If he wants to do what he wants, then he's free, " She said, rising to her feet.

She grabbed her purse and decided to leave, since it's past the closing hours.

"Don't even know why I'm still here" She said, picking up her things.

Anna held them close and walked up to the door.

On opening it, she's stunned to find Ferman outside her office. His hand already set to knock before she opened the door.

Ferman stared back at his secretary. He dropped his eyes down at her hands and saw her holding her things.

"You're leaving already?" He asked, lifting his gaze back at her face.

Anna didn't answer. She directed her gaze elsewhere, avoiding eye contact
