CHAPTER 65

The sight of the once abandoned and incomplete buildiing , got Mildred gazing with so much happiness in her eyes.

"Savador, this is great, " She commented on seeing the construction workers still working on the place.

"It's indeed great. When they are done with the building, we'll get everyone In, " Savador said to Mildred, sharing his plan with her.

Her heart is already filled with joy just picturing the building being completed and all those poor people living in it with so much happiness.

Thinking of the poor people, Mildred looked towards the side they always stayed, but didn't see a sign of the people.

She was lost in her happiness that she didn't realize that the ones they are constructing the building for, are not even there.

"Savador, where are they?" She asked, pointing towards the spot they all usually live in.

The cartons and trashes that they usually stay in was also gone.
