CHAPTER 67

Having sent Savador the message, Mildred found herself thinking about her mother's safety and whereabout.

"I hope she's okay. Oh God, why is this happening?" Mildred panicked, covering her face sadly.

"I should have told her about the house earlier. I should have told her that I sold the place. But fear wouldn't let me then. And I forgot after everything that happened," She groaned unhappily.

All Mildred could feel at that point was nothing but fear for her mother's well being.

Her mother doesn't have a phone of her own that she can just call her with. The person she sold their old place to, isn't someone her mother is familiar with.

All of these got Mildred stressing her mind out.

"Please speed up, " She instructed the driver.

Obeying her words, the car went with speed at once.

Mildred took her phone to check if Savador has texted back. But there was no response from him.

This got Mildred's heart feeling heavy.

She called Savador's line multiple times, but he didn't pick up.
