CHAPTER 96

Mildred got herself ready for the day.

According to Frank, Savador won't be going to the office but heading out for a quick work towards the evening.

Mildred decided to make things ready for his birthday, before he returns back to the mansion.

"I'll speak to him first before he leaves, so he'll know that I need him, " She said, stepping down the stairs, looking for Savador.

She arrived at the bottom and saw the celebrant exiting the living room, heading towards the stairs where she stood, talking to someone on the phone.

"Yes, I know. I'll be there, " Savador said to the receiver.

He ends the call and finally lifts his gaze to the stairs, to find Mildred there.

She chose to wait for him there, since he was coming.

When Savador drew near her, he took his eyes off Mildred and attempted to walk pass her.

"Savador," Mildred called, taking hold of his arm.

That got him facing her back.

Their eyes came locking with each other, making Mildred feel emotional within.
