A LITTLE PRESSURE
Maggi's eyes fell on the picture of the man that was used in decorating the coffin. She could have sworn that picture looks familiar.

“The traitor is finally in my nest.”

She swallowed hard then raised her head and saw a man slowly walking up to her. It was Lord Dee, Vanessa's father.

She started to feel uneasy. Why does it feel like she's gotten herself into deep shit?

What was this about? His daughter? Is it about the slap at the auction? Well they had a bet and Vanessa raised her hand on her first. She only returned what Vanessa gave to her, though she was sorry.

As he got closer, his sharp eyes and cold aura felt so overbearing, she couldn't breathe.

“Sir, this is Margaret Armstrong,” The one in charge said.

Lord Dee waved his hands dismissively and took his seat, his eyes still fixed on Maggi.

“My daughter is a board member in your family's company, I'm sure you know who I am. But if you don't, I am Mr. Hunter Dashiel, a general from the western zone.”
