“That's odd, he's still asleep?” Alex was having this feeling she wouldn't explain, then the nurse walked in.

After doing a few things on Byron, she turned to Don and Alex, bowing slightly, “Was a doctor here?”

They all shook their heads, “Not of any that we are aware of. My Dad and I stepped out to get lunch not too long ago.” Alex explained.

The nurse narrowed her head and immediately stopped the drip. She stepped out and in less than one minute, she was back with another bag of drip.

Beatrice gritted her teeth as the lady gave Byron a new drip and reduced the speed.

“But isn't that going to take long? I mean, if the drip gets into his body that slowly then it might take all night before it finishes.” Beatrice voiced her concerns but the nurse simply shook her head.

“That's the normal speed for the patient.” She smiled and turned to the Don. “A nurse will be here till he completes that drip then, in a few days, he'll be discharged.”

“Thank you nurse.” Alex felt relieve
