Maggi was lost for words. She thought she just made it clear that there was no USB with her?

Why did her mother have to rat her out to these people? Wait…she's right, her mother had indeed seen her trying to hide it.

“That's right, that USB, once you can provide it or it's whereabouts, then we would let her go, if not, by this time tomorrow all you'd see is her lifeless body on your doorstep.” Sniper said with a note of finality before turning to leave.

After having a few conversations within themselves, Samantha and The Armstrongs went back home that night except Grandma Jane and Liam's mum.

No one had an idea where they slept but it was obvious where they were out, trying to get Liam out of prison.

It was 10 pm that night and Samantha couldn't sleep. She kept thinking of the possible things they could do to Maggi.

The last threat those men gave to them kept replaying in her head. What stupid USB could that be for Maggi to be willing to die rather than giving it to them?
