Byron stood to look Sucre in the eye, “Beatrice Smith, as in: Beatrice Don Smith, sister to Henry White?”

Sucre nodded, “Yes.”

Byron paused, trying to process everything he just heard. It wasn't possible! His stepmom couldn't possibly be working with Derek!

Byron clenched his fist. He grabbed Sucre by the collar, lifting him in the air. “How dare you mention my stepmom's name? Are you crazy?”

The cops immediately stood to pull Byron away from the other inmates. “Till you leave the surface of the earth, don't ever pin your dirty games with Derek on my relatives or family, you son of bitch.” Byron yelled, his eyes bloodshot red.

He had never been more angry. The last thing he'd ever condole is a false accusation against his family. He'd never accept it.
