“Do I look like a beggar to you?” Grandma Jane scoffed.

“Don't you?” Byron retorted, marching her energy.

Grandma Jane frowned. Byron seems to have developed a sharp tongue over these few months. “How dare you?”

“Jane, I didn't see any young man outside. All are sophisticated young men from the wealthy clan. No one will be willing to be the face behind The Mask of Honor.”

He added, “Not even Liam, his body structure is nothing close to Byron's. Your grandson's chest is as dried as a coconut without water.”

With that, he and Byron turned to leave.

Jane clenched her fist and pushed the lady aside, her tears were beginning to annoy her. “They are going madam, it's almost 10pm already. What are we going to do?”

Jane gritted her teeth. “Well I should be asking you, you fool.”

As Larry and Byron walked further away, she raised her hand to check the time on her watch. She had delayed her guests for an hour.
