Eddie sat alone in his apartment, the dim light from the streetlamp outside casting long shadows across the room. His mind raced, replaying Axton’s words over and over. He had been given a direct order, one that left no room for misinterpretation. 

“Take care of Frank,” Axton had said, his voice cold and uncompromising. “Make it look like an accident if you have to, but make sure he’s gone.”
