There was a big call for calm among the disagreeing factions, however the king looked undisturbed at the recent developments.

Lord Mordian wondered why his nephew refused lying but instead stated clear that he was not going to oblige to the council's request.

While the mumuring was still going on, Lord Mordian turned to Lord Garthine Polion, and motioned for him to come a bit closer.

With Lord Garthine Polion bending towards Lord Mordian, the latter whispered into his ear. "I never knew that your king my nephew was as bold as this. I swear by Oridon's mace, I would never be bold enough to disregard the request of the council of elders, right in their faces."

Lord Garthine Polion grinned, and returned back to his position behind the king's chair.

With time, the noises died down after much effort from Lord Wemblewin, Lord Barthine loust and elder Rabon to call the assembly to order.
