The elves readied their weapons looking confidently at Lord Mordian and Romeo as if they were about to wipe them out from the realm of the living.

"Romeo are you ready for this?" Lord Mordian asked.

Romeo nodded at him.

"Another thing to note about veteran cohorts - is that they do not give in or surrender to thieves, bandits or saboteurs, death is a preferable option."

Romeo creased his eyebrows. "Are we going to die Lord Mordian?"

Lord Mordian grinned. "That I do not know. I pray that the gods have not designed today to be the day of our journey to the realm of the divine."

"Let us kill them." The skinny elf hissed and after two heartbeats the three elves dashed towards Lord Mordian and young Romeo.

Lord Mordian tightened his grip on his long silver hilted xiphos. "Oh great Oridon help us to be quick with these three before the others will be tempted to be part of the skirmish and we will be heavily outnumbered." He whispered to himself in prayer.
