Klara looked worried. "Why does the government allow these creatures from outside to come into our city when they are fully aware of what the Skaezer has done to their own cities." She snapped."Hey keep your voice low, you do not need to sound like a segregate here in the open, It is bad." Dejar motioned for Klara to calm down. "No one knows why the government allowed them to come into our city however by the order of prince Elrond the soldiers at the gate make sure that no one with the Skaezer uses the gate either coming in or going out.""You also make sure you cover your nose and mouth cause they say the disease is air borne." The third elf said with his crackling voice."Yes that is true."Klara shook her head in dismay. "This is so sad hear." She said. "How many elves have died due to Skaezer?"Dejar held his chin. "According to the government about a thousand six hundred." He replied.Klara's eyes were wide open. "A thousand six hundred." "Yes that is how bad it is.""Great Or
She got down from her horse and moved towards her brother. "Hello Nogolas, how are you." She moved to hug him but he restrained motioning for her to keep her distance. She scowled confused at the sudden behaviour of Nogolas her brother.Lord Mordian was surprised at this too and wondered if he was under the influence of wine or a magic spell."Let me see your skin." Nogolas requested coldly. He seemed to be very cautious."Oh my skin." Klara recovered from the shock and raised up her long sleeve so she could expose her skin to her brother.Lord Mordian flashed his eyebrows and breath a sigh of relief. After carefully glancing at her skin from a distance he became relaxed and smiled once more at her. "You are okay big sister." He said. "Sorry for all of that, I am just being careful so that I will not get infected that is all." He chuckled. Both of them hugged each other affectionately. "Oh I miss you all." She smiled as she was filled with joy to be back home."Zair! Zair!" He called o
"As you are out there make sure you are careful, avoid skin contact with other people and remember to cover your nose." Nogolas warned."Yes I will Nogolas - thank you for the advice." Lord Mordian said. "So I will be off then." He moved out of the house and closed the door behind him.He moved over to Craigan and began to unpack his luggages, Zair had come out of the house to pick up some of the things that were inside the wagon and on the horses. "Um Zair." He called out. Zair turned to him. "Please look after my horse for me and make sure the bags are unpacked - hear is a gold coin for you." He flipped the coin at Zair and he caught it, still static at the point where he stood. With the coin in his hands he examined it and after that he grimaced at Lord Mordian looking at him with threatening eyes while he clenched his jaw. "This is not Pinkiland coin and Goldsmith services are expensive." He flipped back the coin at Lord Mordian. "I do not need your coin - every luggage here will
The name of the castle was castle Bredaz and it was located at the heart of Pinkiland, luckily for Lord Mordian Klara's family house was not too far from it.Castle Beraz was a stunning example of elven design and architecture. The body of the castle was evenly shaped with five spired towers of the same size reaching up to the sky. The spires were interconnected with the main tower of the castle which was extremely larger than the rest via a series of walkways, well built and beautifully decorated with lilies, chrysanthemum, hydrangea and orchid plants. The main body of the tower was made up of four floors with the towers rising up to forty to fifty five feet and it was made up of beautifully decorated windows.Lord Mordian got down from his horse close to a place where about three elven soldiers were. They were gisting amongst themselves however they kept some distance from each other but that did not disrupt their flow and excitement in what ever topic they talked about. Considering
"Wait soldiers, wait." Prince Elrond ordered before he moved towards Lord Mordian who was still gripped by the elven soldiers. He looked searchingly at him holding his face and turning it to the left and the right. "Let me ask you a question. What happens to Aran when the Sereng fails to yield and the ode of the pusta makka seems to tire?""The ode of the pusta makka is his creed till his death, the Sereng is for Aran, the cannibal is for the blood the flesh of his adversery is his prize, victory is blood and the way of the blade brings great gain, power, wine and bossoms of the females, whores and highborn alike." Lord Mordian recited with vigour. On hearing this a broad smile ran across prince Elrond's face. "If it is not the plain old bloody Mordius." He moved to hug him.Upon noticing prince Elrond's friendly gesture towards Lord Mordian the soldiers that took hold of him immediately unlocked his arms from their grip leaving free to hug prince Elrond."Great Corellon, you have cha
"It has been ten years ever since I renovated this castle - and by the way you cannot blame me for leaving my castle in that way.""Why should I not blame you?""You bloody stalwart we were fighting a series of wars by that time unlike now that we the inhabitants of the feudal tribes in Merveilland have decided to have some peace and quiet amongst ourselves." "Yes I can remember, series of blood baths occuring almost everyday - those wars that woke up the urge in me to become a cannibal.""You mean we because I too eat some flesh." Prince Elrond grinned. The servant appeared with an iron tray that contained an amphora and three silver goblets. When she was done serving the wine prince Elrond motioned for her to draw closer so he could whisper some words into her ear. She nodded her head when he was done talking and she walked out of the room closing the door behind her.Lord Mordian took notice of the servant who was a beautiful dark elf but he also wondered what prince Elrond had wh
A still expression ran across his face then he gulped down some of the blood once more. He thought of lying to his comrades so he could conceal the secret of the dragon egg but he knew that would be unfair and dishonoring to them besides they were smarter than they looked and unless he lied to them about something they had no idea about it would be easy for them to detect he was lying however both elves knew how Lord Mordian could be an expert in telling a false tale so he decided to be straight up with them. "I am sorry my comrades, I do not wish to speak of what my nephew King Lauihnio of Bauthinia suffers - I swear by my gods it out of good intentions and not because of malice or lack of trust." He said."What is up with you? - you do not trust us?" Prince Elrond scowled.Lord Mordian shook his head. "No." He retorted. "You two are the only ones I can trust with my secrets, you two are more than fathers to me, you taught me most of the things I know but this one is too delicate.""
Lord Mordian gasped in surprise when Galrut mentioned Goreland. He was taken aback for a moment and nearly blacked out because he did not see that one coming. "Wait which Goreland are we talking about is it -""The Goreland we spent eight years fighting during the first and second civil war, the land of the minotaurs." Galrut said flatly."Oh great Oridon, what kind of a quest is this, if I had just refused Lauihnio his request to harness that dragon egg I would certainly have avoided all this trouble." He whispered to himself in regret."Are you saying something Mordian?"Lord Mordian jerked his face upwards to Galrut. "No no it is nothing." He said. "However despite the Badorna lotus being in Goreland only, why have your government not been able to at least sign an agreement with the minotaurs or even buy these plants not minding the price they may throw at you."Prince Elrond heaved a sigh. "Mordian I tell you if that was possible I would have done that long before now and you would
