TO THE PALACE

Lord Mordian sat down at his window, looking at the flickering leaves, that danced according to the path the wind took them. His face was sullen, and the dark cloak he draped around the dark tunic he wore, was a clear evidence that he had not gotten over the death of Romeo, who was buried yesterday which was the day he died.

King Lauihnio pushed the door to Lord Mordian's room open, and upon seeing his uncle in such state, he knew he was still in mourning for a young man he usually considered as a son. The king knew how painful the loss of Romeo was, and immediately he began to look sympathetically at his uncle.

"Uncle." King Lauihnio called then steered towards him. "I am very sorry for your loss." He hugged Lord Mordian and it was not up to four heartbeats, the old man began to burst into tears.

"It is alright uncle, it is alright."

"Romeo was like a son to me, he was going to be a brave warrior just like me." He mumbled, with his face full of tears.

"Your loss is a loss to us all,
