Chapter 17

Connor didn't expect the torrent of blows that came down on him when he was speaking to Archie.

Little did he know that Archie had studied him very well to know that he was better at shoving people, which caused them to fall and emerge as the winner. But this time around, Archie was ready for whatever it would take to make sure that he got to the bottom of the issue.

Getting to the bottom of the issue meant that he was going to iron everything out before they could even say Jack.

As they were even trying to understand what was happening, Archie jumped on Connor and began to slap him very hard. "You will not speak to people in this manner. Learn to accord people respect." Each statement was accompanied by a slap that made the whole room keep quiet.

Connor's arms flailed as he tried to defend himself to no avail but no one was even acting like they saw him in pain. They were also feeling very annoyed at the way that Connor acted but they didn't have any choice at that.
