Chapter 29

Archie walked toward his former school with a small smile on his face. A lot of people stared at him but he wasn't fazed by it. "Can you see the way they are staring at us? You're becoming a celebrity."

Archie grinned at her before schooling his features. "I am just here to see what they have to do."

"Do you want me to help you with the bleachers? I could act as your cheerleader even though I'm not supposed to." Bailey inquired.

Archie wrinkled his nose and smiled. "Tell me what's up with you and Connor? Did you date him?" He inquired as they walked past his former dorm.

"No, I didn't. Why would you even think that"

"I don't know... It just flashed into my mind. I won't be surprised if there's a rapid change from you after a while. I just want to know what I am up against." He replied.

A confused look rested on Bailey's face. So she stopped him, " Are you sure that you're okay? Did Connor say something to you that I'm not aware of?" She inquired. This was unlike him, he was feelin
