Chapter 64- Ambushed (ii)

The men turned to stare at Ryder who was smirking at them. They didn't know that he was busy eavesdropping on their conversation and that made him amused. Very amused for that matter.

"I see that you've suddenly gone mute. Simon, of all people, it's a pity that you're trying your hardest to make my life miserable in my father's house. This is annoying and I don't think that I can work with that at all. This is very strange. Now, I'd be frank with you." He replied then shrugged right after.

A short wave of anger welled up inside of Simon and he felt like smacking the pompous ass. There was a very good reason why he wasn't always concerned with this man. He always felt like the world revolved around him which was quite the opposite. It didn't make any sense to him at all and he wasn't going to change it.

"Why don't you come off your high horse and see that life doesn't revolve around you?" He replied and Simon stared at him wickedly.
