I walk through the straight path filled with busy ants at the sideways,

The ants place their hands on the ground and erect buildings of different size while the other ants go into the newly erected building with equipment in their hands,

My guess is they are going inside to refurbish the inside of the building.

I walk further into the pathway and I came across the ant that served as the supervisor to the ongoing construction,

he keeps giving out orders and instructions to the nearby ants with hand gesture.
