Volume 1. Chapter 12 The Chaos

Una saw that her hands and feet initially had a few lacerations, which had now disappeared when she drank the potion.

"The wounds I've gotten, all healed..." Una was amazed to see that, there was a potion that could heal quickly.

"What is it?" Una looked at Vail as if he was talking to someone.

“Can you all drink it?” Vail asked everyone to quickly drink the potion.

“Vail, is there any problem?” Mansa wants to know the meaning of Vail's words.

"The soldiers led by Mr. Delgram are in a desperate situation, and the demon army is heading towards this city," Vail told Mansa.

Hearing that, Mansa immediately rushed to where Delgram was. Erick, Nita, and Sara, who were Mansa's group, immediately drank it and ran after Mansa.

All the adventurers drank it, and immediately ran to the front lines…

"Look! Look how cute they all are…” The demon king mocked the adventurers who ran to join the hero.

“They are very annoying.”

“Everyone run!” Elia shouted, saw the demon king throw a fireball that was enough to burn half the city.

No one had time to make a protector.

For the second time, Una shouted a person that no one knows. And for the second time, an obstacle appeared.

“Damn it.” The demon king was annoyed that the adventurers were not burned.

“Surrendering was the right decision, demon king Dorf,” Cini warned the demon king.

"Too bad, you forgot that our friend is down there." Rii taunted the demon king, thought it was his friend.

"Who are you shouting at, Una?" Vail was curious and so curious.

"Actually, who are you?" Elia wanted to know where the three of them were.

“We're just borrowing the hero's power…” Vail informed.

“More or less, but I want you all to silence and not talk about this. If the world finds out, heroes will be used as tools by everyone who wants to gain power equal to heroes." Vail asking the Guild master, Elia, and Una to keep their mouths shut.

"Liar..." Una's voice was so low that no one could hear it except Vail.

“Guild master, I will join the heroes while the potion effect lasts.”

All the adventurers helped the city soldiers to kill the beast, Una and Vail helped the others to defeat the beast.

“Why didn't any of my attacks hit?” The demon king was so annoyed.

"You are different from the demons we met, he was still able to fight even though he couldn't use his strength," Cini told and taunted the demon king.

"Human, I'm not stupid enough to fall for your words." The demon king did not believe Cini's words.

“Riii!” Elia screamed, because she saw an attack that was so big and exploded right at Rii.

"Rii..." Una shocked by what she saw.

"Don't be sad, Nia...Rii is fine." Vail tells her not to worry.

"We just need to focus on what lies ahead, as long as you have confidence in everything. All the difficulties will become easy." Vail asked her not to be fooled by what was happening, and asked her to stay focused.

"Hero..." Erick, who saw the strong wind sweeping through the demon army, called Mansa to look at it as well.

"...." Mansa thought that it was Vail.

"Everyone, help the city soldiers defeat the monsters in the city." Mansa gave the order to kill the beast summoned by the demon king.

The sound of the warning bell was heard, and everyone was fighting except the civilians seeing the large number of demon troops.

“Why is there no end?!” Mansa was very emotional, because he felt that the person most responsible for this world was a hero.

"Hero..." Nita and Erick saw the hero who was so annoyed and fed up with all this.

"Those of you who are still young should run immediately, so we can stop them," Delgram asked Erick and the others to save themselves for the future of this world.

"Don't worry, someone we know might have considered this." The guild master walked towards them, thinking it was Vail and Una.

“Someone, we all know?” Sara didn't know who the person in question was.

“Look…” The guild master pointed at the sky.

"What happened? Why is the sky changing—”

The sound of lightning or thunder makes their ears ring. They saw flashes from black clouds striking the demon army accompanied by strong winds.

Everyone's gaze looked to the sky, and so did the two demon kings.

“Dorf! We'd better retreat..." The woman proposed to leave the battlefield, because their opponents could not be underestimated.

“What you saying, Lina! This is my battlefield, you have no right to interfere in my affairs.” The demon king Dorf was already provoked by emotion because none of his attacks hit Cini.

“Damn, if it stays like this…death is approaching.” Lina's mind was so confused, after seeing the power that killed her army which was considered impossible to defeat.

“…..” The demon king Lina who wanted to escape was blocked by Rii.

“Are you sure you still mention the demon king, after abandoning your comrades and running?” Rii closed off the path, for the demon king Lina to escape.

Wherever the demon king Lina runs and flies, she always ends up in the same place. So that makes her escape seem like a delusion.

"What happened?" The demon king Lina was so confused.

"What are you doing!"

"Don't be annoyed with me, you just keep quiet with a sly look on your face," Rii told her what he saw.

“Aaarrrkkkk!—”

“......” The demon king Lina saw her dead comrade with his chest penetrated by Cini's hand and took his heart.

"Now you're the only one left, get ready." Rii pointed at the demon king Lina, and from the tip of his index finger a ball of blue fire appeared.

"Goodbye."

BANG!

Everyone was afraid and protected their heads as they charged…when the smoke from the explosion cleared, they all no longer saw the woman who was helping the demon king.

" Rii!" Una and Cindy ran to Rii. Meanwhile, Elia cried when Cini approached her.

“Are you feeling lonely?” Nita looks at Vail who is not worried.

"Stupid, how could I think of negative things like that after the war happened," Vail told Nita.

“Then, what about you guys? Is the problem resolved…” Vail wanted to know, the extermination of the beasts that the previous demon king summoned.

“We killed all the monsters first before the demon king and his servants were defeated,” Nita said.

"You, you might be called the same as Mr. Hero," Nita concluded from what she cared about.

“Anyone know that?” Vail wants to know if anyone other than Nita knows the identities of Rii, Cini, and Vail.

"I'll make sure, I am the only one who knows...if you don't deny it, that means Una—"

“Your voice can make others hear, and that's right. Una is herself.” Vail told Nita without covering up.

Nita smiled a little and was so happy.

“Tell me, what happens if I leak this?” Nita teased a little.

"Maybe we'll give you biscuits made by Una, or anything to keep yourself from saying it. My Nita." Vail announced his sentence.

“What kind of punishment is that just eating biscuits? I--"

“Una! Nita said she wanted to eat the biscuits you made!" Vail said loudly.

"Is it true?!" Una was so happy to hear that. Meanwhile, Cini and Rii showed faces that didn't want to try again.

"What's with those two faces?" Nita was so curious.

“One must have the same experience, to understand that person's suffering.” Vail walked away from them.

"Wait Vail, where you going?" Nita was surprised to see Vail just walk away, leaving her behind.

Sara, who saw this, immediately chased after Vail.

"Hey what you--Uh, where?" Sara who followed Vail, did not see where he was even though it was a dead end.

Not long after, the guild master asked adventurers who could use healing magic to help injured people.

“Una, Cindy, Elia we have to go back,” Rii told them that he and Cini had to return to the Gerna kingdom for some reason.

"Why?" Cindy felt like she was going to separate again.

“We will be back in fifty days from now,” Cini told the news of her return from the Gerna kingdom.

“Hmm? Where is Vail, I don't see him.” Mansa approached and did not see Vail.

"Maybe he walked first, because had to tell us the effects of the potion we brought earlier," Rii informed.

"Then express my gratitude to the king," Mansa entrusted the words to Rii to convey to King Ligt.

“So what are you guys going to do?” Cini wants to know the next step Mansa will take.

"I and they will return to Unity to inform about this attack and war," Mansa said that he, Erick, Sara, and Nita would return to the place, where the kings had gathered.

In the Gerna Kingdom, Vail who was in King Ligt's study told everything that happened in Norf City, and told the king the effect the potion produced according to the agreement.

“Thanks for the notification, didn't expect the effects to be this effective.” King Ligt was so happy to hear that.

“But why did you save one demon king?” The king was eager to know the reason.

“I don't know the reason myself either, it's just that. We can assume that by stealing all the subordinates of that mysterious voice.”

"It can give us information about the figure who is their master," Vail told him.

"Okay, I also don't mind that you were still here last night." King Ligt did not reject the unsatisfactory statement.
