Volume 2. Chapter 6 A Little Tale Of The Future Queen

Glen and Runia were silent, because they saw that the horse-drawn carriage had returned.

One of the soldiers opened the door of the horse-drawn carriage, and Amira got out for the first time.

“Vail…where did you get a woman as beautiful as her?” King Ligt said in his mind. Ligt was so fascinated by Amira's beauty, Ligt felt he would discover his love story.

“….” Runia and Glen saw that their friend was fascinated by Amira's arrival.

“This seems good, do we need to asked the prince to ask King Ligt to marry her?” Runia's words were heard by all the soldiers and Lina and the others.

“You two…” King Ligt groaned and became awkward, but tried to be as welcoming as possible.

"Welcome to the kingdom—"

“I accept it, please help in the future.”

“Eh?” They all didn't understand what Amira was saying when she said that.

Amira explained that if she had accepted King Ligt's proposal, she would have misunderstood so much.

One month later. Mansa received a reply letter from Erick. Tell him that the king and Amira will have a wedding.

"Did I hear correctly?" Cini wanted to confirm the news.

“I understand it's a little suspicious, that's why I asked you guys to learn to read in this world,” Mansa complains that Rii, Vail, and Cini are illiterate in this world.

"But I didn't expect it to be like this," Vail was so curious.

"That means, Miss Amira or your mother will become queen..." Rii informed.

"Okay, it's time to look for someone we want to meet again." Cini got up from his seat.

They continue their search to find the child of the Grit trader in the Karta kingdom.

"Is this the place?" Vail wanted to be sure.

“This city's trade guild told me that the person named Divia is the granddaughter of merchant Grit,” Mansa told him information from the guild or trade union in the Karta kingdom.

“Left only generations of descendants—”

“What kind of merchandise is this!”

“Everything you sell has completely lost its resale value, you know?”

"Sorry sir, we are out of stock. The goods we ordered a month ago still haven't arrived until now." Divia informs and apologizes.

“Troubling, you should close this place until your goods are available again.” The stranger, who was an errand boy for her grandfather's rival, spat out.

“Excuse me, is your name Divia? Descendants of merchant Grit.” Rii and the others came to the woman's shop.

"Yes, there is a need--"

"At least they came to collect the loan money." The stranger said so confidently.

"You can be quiet, or I will kill you." Vail threatened the man.

"Vail, restrain your emotions," Rii asked Vail not to make a mess.

“We came to keep our promise to Mr. Grit,” Cini said.

"Promise?" Divia is confused.

"I'm sorry, my grandfather is gone," Divia informed.

“There's no need to worry, we already got news about it at Norf city's trade guild,” Rii told her.

“Even though the person concerned is gone, the promise remains.”

"But why to me?" Divia was so curious.

"We want to give our promise to the right person, even though uncle has many descendants from his children," Mansa says.

"Just think, because you are the only one who is willing to continue Uncle Grit's business," Vail informed.

“Choose whether you want, money or sponsors?” Rii gave Divia a choice.

Divia and the stranger were shocked. The stranger went and wanted to tell his master.

"Why are you crying?" Vail and the others saw Divia crying hearing the choice Rii gave her.

“I'm happy if there's someone who will help,” Divia says she is happy.

"When I was little, my grandfather, who fell seriously ill, once told me... that he once said to continue doing good even when you fall, because the wheel keeps turning."

"And grandfahter  also once discussed three small children he met."

“Those three little ones are the three of them…” Mansa pointed at Rii, Cini, and Vail.

“What do you need? Miss Divia.” Mansa wants to know Divia's choice.

"But before that, does that person always come to tarnish your reputation?" Vail wanted to confirm his guess.

“They are subordinates of the Yonji merchants, who were told to come and pretend to buy to give bad remarks,” Divia informed.

"At first my mother was looking after the shop, but she had a little problem because she always heard inappropriate words like that," Divia said that her mother's mental condition, was starting to become less stable with the outside world.

“We will give you capital to continue your business…tell me the amount you want?” Vail informed Divia and asked her to say the nominal amount required.

“No need, I appreciate your efforts to keep your promise—”

“Please, Miss Divia. Let us do it.” Rii interrupted Divia's words.

“Is a thousand gold coins enough?” Cini wants to be sure.

“A thousand gold coins?!” Divia was so surprised.

“We eat three apples, it should give us three thousand gold coins.” Vail reminded them.

"That's right, then we'll work together a thousand," Cini remembered it and asked Rii and Vail to give him a thousand gold coins.

“You guys always make other people—”

Unexpectedly, the business owner from Yonji came and asked Rii, Vail, Cini, and Mansa to stop by his residence.

“We welcome you, gentlemen.” Yonji wants to attract their interest and marries the hero to his daughter to achieve overall glory.

“No thanks, we only came for Divia,” Mansa says.

"Your business is finished, if you still dare to approach and disturb Divia... we will not only kill you but all the efforts you have built so far." Cini threatens Yonji not to do anything wrong in the future.

“….” Yonji was scared because Cini showed frightening intimidation towards him.

"Do you understand?" Cini walked towards Yonji and touched his shoulder.

“I understand, please spare my life.” Yonji was so scared.

“Now go,” Cini said with anger inside.

“….” Yonji and his subordinates left, because they had been given a warning with their lives at stake.

"Divia, I have put three thousand gold coins upstairs," Vail informed.

“That's such a value…since when?” Divia was surprised, she was sure that none of them had entered the shop or gone upstairs.

"One more thing, if you want to get food supplies, you can go to the village in the city of Tars to the east. There is a village there that has good plantation products." Cini told

Divia was asked by Rii to see the capital that had been given, right then and there. Mansa saw Rii, Cini, and Vail using their powers to make vegetables and fruit look like they had just been picked.

Divia was surprised to see so many gold coins, when she came down she was shocked by the four of them who had disappeared and the merchandise that was so fresh.

Cini, Rii, Vail, and Mansa kill all the bandits to be used and warn the survivors not to mess with a female trader named Divia. As well as people who have a relationship with Divia.

“Good morning, Vail.” Amira greeted her son who had just woken up and approached.

"Good morning Mom."

"Mr. Vail, I have something to talk to you about." King Ligt asked for time with Vail.

“Last night, Rii  came into my private room. He revoked his decision to become prince of Gerna, and said that he did that because he wanted to live a normal life."

"And after what he had done by deceiving Clara, he didn't want to be a prince in a false sense." King Ligt told everything Rii said last night.

"Rii has told me that you are worthy and suitable to be the prince of—"

“Please stop that, king…I hear it sounds like the title of the prince that my friend gave me.” Vail complained and objected.

"Rii said you will refuse. But you will also officially become a prince without you realizing it." King Ligt informed.

"I understand that, because you will marry my adoptive mother—"

"Older brother."

Vail's words stopped because Rema approached him.

“Rema? Isn't it Rumia?” Vail was shocked by his little sister's new name.

"Is it because Rumia's name is similar to Miss Runia?" Vail said what he thought.

"It's true, mother didn't feel good when found out that nobleman Glen's wife was called Runia. Even though Miss Runia doesn't mind the name Rumia, Mother still doesn't feel good about it." Amira told.

“Sorry, Mom didn't tell you and gave you a new name without having to consider your consent.” Amira felt guilty for deciding unilaterally.

"It's okay Mother, Rumia or Rema are the same person," Vail said such an exaggeration.

“Where are the others? I don't see the three of them here.”

"Rii, Cini, and Mr. Hero recently went out, they said they wanted to meet Clara, Zein, and their old friends," Amira said.

"Rema, let your brother eat first," Amira asked her daughter to give Vail space.

“…..” Rema didn't speak and just looked at Vail. Rema realizes that they are not biologically related.

“No problem Mother, I don't mind. She's still small at the moment." Vail didn't mind Rema approaching him.

“Are they like this?” King Ligt was curious and asked Amira.

"Rema is already very close to him, after Vail and the others lived in the village for a month." Amira told king Ligt. Amira looked with a smile and joy at the fact that she had two children, even though Vail was her adopted child.

"We used to be so jealous of Mr. Nhiel, why was he the only one who survived the war? Why do our husbands have to die on the battlefield.” Amira looked at her hands which were placed on the table.

“For years, we have heard the voices of strangers and the voices of hoes…I said what I was upset about, and only Vail came to apologize for the first time. Even though they apologized after we gathered."

“There's no need to remember the past mother, no one will know the future or anything else." Vail asked his mother not to think about what had happened.
