Volume 2. Chapter 8 Artificial lakes

Sela and her group went inside left Rii, Cini, and Vail outside the door until the Elf elders let them in.

"She hasn't come out, even though it's almost evening," Cini complained. Because I've been waiting for more than six hours.

“Maybe we were tricked, because you annoyed her,” Rii informed.

Not long after, the door that Sela and her group had passed, through opened again and asked the three of them to enter with the permission of the elders.

"I'm back…"

"Welcome— " Nema was surprised to see her sister bringing Rii, Cini, and Vail to her house.

“Why did you bring them here?”

"If it wasn't for Elder's request, I wouldn't have brought them." Sela sat in a chair and said.

"How about this? I only prepared food for two people. Plus, our food supplies are also running low." Nema was so confused.

“No need to worry, Nema. We can give them the grass behind the house.” Sela told.

"You think we are livestock!" Cini was so annoyed by Sela's sarcasm.

“Can we borrow the kitchen?” Vail asked Nema.

“I don't think it's a problem, if you use your food ingredients,” Nema said.

"The kitchen has been borrowed, so what are you going to do ?" Rii wanted to confirm and ask.

"Just cook as usual," Cini said.

Cini didn't want to make Nema wait long after she finished eating. Nema lent her late mother and father's former room for them to sleep in.

By early morning, they were starting to get cold.

"Who opened the window..." Cini saw a shadowy figure standing at the window.

"Mmm..." Cini couldn't open his voice or mouth, he just patted Rii.

“Stop disturbing my sleep.” Rii was annoyed because Cini's hand was bothering he's face.

"Ghost...!" Cini, who could talk, screamed in fear. And woke Sela and Nema.

"What is it?!" Sela, who heard Cini's scream, immediately opened the door.

“There's a devil in the window.” Cini pointed at the window so shakily.

“Haa…you guys, where is your manliness?” Vail complained with the frightened Rii and Cini.

“You're even worse.” Sela was annoyed with Vail who was more frightened and cursed behind Rii and Cini.

"Why is it so hot here?" Sela suddenly sweated.

They all left the house because the air in the house was so hot.

"You're finally out..."

“Miss Etina!” Nema was surprised to see the earth fairy in front of her.

“Who is this forest elf-like woman?” Rii was curious about the woman in front of his.

"You--"

“Sela, no need.” Etina stopped Sela who wanted to get angry.

“My name is Etina, ruler of the forest and fairy of the earth. As well as the person who sent the spirit to wake you up." Etina informed.

"Come with me." Etina went walking and told them to follow her.

Etina took them to the room where the elders were waiting.

“Once again, let me introduce myself, my name is Etina. Lord of the forest, as well as an earth fairy.” Etina introduced herself once again.

“I have heard that you guys want to help this village, I am flattered.”

"We just found out that this forest has an owner." Vail was shocked by Etina's words.

“If that's true, why don't you help this village?” Rii was surprised by the fairy's confession.

"If I had the power you mean, I would have helped them two years ago," Etina said that she didn't have the strength to help.

"I've heard from Sela, but not in detail yet," Cini said.

The elders told them where their problem was, where forest products were starting to run low. And all the plants and water are hard to get.

"The main factor is water, right..." Cini thought of something.

“Is there a large area of unused land?” Vail wanted to check with them before acting.

"What for?" Sela was so curious.

“I intend to make a small lake,” Vail informed.

"Small lake?" Nema was so confused.

“If you need land, behind this big tree there is a large area of land. You guys can wear it.” Etina told and allowed.

After descending from the tree house where the elders gathered, Vail moved a little away to avoid the roots that became pegs on the tree where the elders lived.

"Rii, Cini, can you help?" Vail asked for help.

“Of course,” Cini approached Vail.

"So what shape of the lake do you want to make for them?" Rii was so curious.

Vail didn't answer, instead, he put his ear to the ground and used his magic power to detect the sound of water.

"You two can make a lake now, I want to go there and make a path for the water to flow." Vail pointed south.

"We understand,"

Etina and the Elves were curious about the three of them. For them, Vail, Rii, and Cini's actions were very strange.

The Elves were shocked again, the ground they were standing on shook slightly.

"This is probably the work of the person who flew into the river there," Etina said.

“Could it be, he created a river path?” one of the elders was surprised and wanted to make sure what he said was true.

“As you know, Elder Norm,” Etina confirmed what one of the elders said.

They saw Vail in the sky, throwing his power into the ground. To create a hole so that water from the river could flow into an artificial lake.

“They created a lake.” Nema is so happy, that water starts to fill the lake that Rii and Cini made.

"Okay, this way the problem facing the village has been resolved," Cini told the Elves.

Rii and Vail descended from the sky.

“Nema, take these vegetable and fruit seeds, so you can use them as produce for your plantation. And use this attraction item, then throw it into the lake.” Vail removes vegetable and fruit seeds from the black circle as well as items in the form of mastika.

“What was that?” Etina was very curious about the circle that Vail made.

"I don't know myself, but that circle can store anything," Rii informed.

“I don't understand, but I will.” Nema accepted everything Vail gave him.

After being accepted, Nema threw everything she had into the lake. And made Cini laugh.

"Why did you also throw the plant seeds?!" Vail is surprised by Nema throwing everything.

"It wasn't like you were told to throw it into the water," Nema informed, and Vail asked to throw away all the items received.

“I just meant items… forget it.” Vail held back his irritation. And lifted the two seeds given.

Vail explains to Nema how to treat seeds properly after Nema understands. Rii asked the others to curse.

"This is a lie, isn't it?" Sela was surprised to see all the animals coming to the lake to drink.

“The pull item seems to be working,” Rii informed.

“Why is it called a pull item?” Etina was so curious.

“Because we don't know the name, especially. We have used the effect to attract attention.” Cini told.

Five years later. They returned to the shop where Divia was to buy food supplies for provisions.

" Divia..." Cini called in a small voice from upstairs.

"It's useless, she didn't hear," Cini said.

“It's best to use telepathy to talk to her.” Rii gave the final choice.

“……”

“Eh? Who's that!" Divia was shocked to hear the voice in her head.

"To the back?" Divia was surprised, she turned to the stairs upstairs.

She saw Cini waving his hands. And asked Divia to come over him.

"What are you doing here?" Divia lowered her voice. Don't want the guards to know that the three of them are there.

"It's a long story to tell, basically we want to buy food supplies," Rii informed in a low voice.

"Hello? Is the owner there?” Tell someone to buy.

“Yeah, wait a minute.” Divia went downstairs and welcomed the buyer.

“I want to buy watermelons, tubers, and apples. Are the vegetables still there?” Ask the buyer.

“There are still ladies, we still have them,” Divia informed.

"Please..." That person wants to buy it too.

"How is Divia?" Cini asked telepathically.

"You just need to answer it in your mind," Rii informed.

“It's still there, but if you buy it like before. This store will run out of supplies again.” Divia complained and was informed telepathically.

"How much does it cost?" The buyer asks for the total number of items she purchased.

“One hundred and fifty Diers, miss,” Divia told the buyer.

“One hundred and fifty Uier, how?” Cini made her offer telepathically to Divia.

"Thank you, come back." Divia has finished serving her potential customers.

“Do you guys have that much money?” Divia responded to Cini's words through her thoughts.

"Haaa...okay, put the money there. I'm going to close this shop again," Divia informed.

Divia closed the shop, so Rii, Cini, and Vail could go downstairs and get their shopping.

In the afternoon.

"There's no end to them, it's been more than a thousand times of fighting." Said one of the three of them.

"Should--"

The sound of applause was heard.

“It's great that the three of you can defeat a B-rank adventurer so easily.” Said the stranger who came out of hiding.

"This time it's eight people." Cini saw the person bringing his friends.

“Do you guys mind?” The person scoffed slightly.

"There's no point in asking like that," Rii informed.

“This guy, both armor and everything else are magic attributes,” Vail informed.

“A sharp eye, indeed. Our equipment has a magic attribute because we are adventurers with the highest rank, namely S.” The person said it so confidently and arrogantly.

“Since you guys are equal to heroes, it would be good for us to change places to fight it out,” Cini said. And plan something.

“Ahaha…I'm glad you're aware of our strength. OK, we'll follow. My name is--"

“There's no need to tell, there's no point in introducing yourself.” Vail interrupted the person's words.

Before moving, people who want to introduce themselves. Move your index finger around the sky. Other S-class adventurers appeared who were hiding.

Cini took them to the forest.

"The forest, it seems like you don't want to be disturbed."

“I will…”

“Why are you guys so noisy?!” He was annoyed to hear the commotion behind him.

“Lucot, we are in the valley of death.” One of his colleagues told him.

“That's impossible, we are in the Karta kingdom. Death Valley is at the southern end, we just move to the forest.” Lucot told his partner.

“They are wizards, remember that.” Lucot reminds us of the tricks used by magicians to create illusions.

“Are you so sure? Because we wizards can move places so freely and quickly.” Rii informed.

“Lucot, I have a bad feeling about this.” Their colleagues became doubtful about their existence in a forest.
