REGRET AND REDEMPTION

Everyone with their eyes full of tears, even if they had met Jil for just few days now but had made connection like a family with each and everyone of the members in the group. This was the something that shouldn't have happened to them but this was not something that couldn't have happened.

Sam was a good friend of Jil and dave, mili, lee, kerel, jake, bony, Neil, Sasha everyone in the group known each other for quite along time even before the apocalypse started. This had a huge effect on them, none of them wanted to accept that they had just lost one of their oldest friend and a brother in arms.

Shin tries to console Sam but he wasn't listening and not letting go of Jil. He was totally connected with Jil from his heart as hi friend.

Sasha was going to blame Shin for this again but this time Neil already stopped her from doing so. As Neil said

' please everyone, i know that we have lost our friend and brother in arms and i know that too he was a very good friend of ours but now's not the time to start getting frustrated on this and blame it on anyone. This has everyone of us involved in this and we all are to blame for not a single person. Now we should let go off our dead friend and give him a proper burial as the last thing we can do for him. '

Sam put his emotional breakdown in control and waved his head for a acceptance.

Sam, lee and jake carried his body outside.

Shin went toward the gate to keep watch and everyone scattered around to keep watch for zombies.

They got his body to the garden, they didn't had a shovel so they dig the hole with just their broken weapons which had some mobility to be able to prove aid in this.

Digging a hole took some time but they were able to do it, saying last prayers and sending their regards so Jil they put his body in the hole and covered it using their hands.

All of them started to went inside with tears, but Sam was still her looking at his grave.

Neil told him to get inside before any zombie may notice him, he with full of emotions went inside. Neil signalled Shin and other keeping watch to get inside too.

After they went inside they atmosphere around them was not all that good.

Shin and others wanted to say more about this but they didn't had their say in this matter so they kept their silence.

Neil had to break the silence as he was the one who had to do it, even Shin was looking forward for him to do it. So Neil said

'look everyone i know that we have lost jil today and i am seriously frustrated too but if now we could stop sulking on it and look on the matter that we have in our hands right now we might be able make it possible that non of us die again.'

Everyone got his words and came forward to gather around and discuss what to do next. Riya and Jane proposed a plan saying

' as we have already dealt with the zombies on the upper floor we can now atleast live on the ground floor without being scared all the time, but before that we should put something in front f the stairs to block them.

To do that we will find whatever we can and what we don't need to use.

Also the place was quite dusty and need a proper cleaning if they have live here and eat a proper meal before getting sick.

So it was needed for everyone to look for brooms to clean and other stuff might help us, something big like table or a sofa might be better option to block the stair as if any zombie were to break through them.

They will know with the strong noise coming from their impact.

Yeah it will surely invite more zombies but will atleast make us attentive about zombies breaking through when they are asleep or relaxing.

So for now someone should keep watch on the stairs and other should look for stuff needed in the building. '

Everyone got to work, they broke the society office gate and found keys for other rooms and store room where all the equipment they need will be.

Found a big table and some chairs to put between the stairs to block them.

They put them in an adjusted way so if any zombie try to come from up they will them and wont be able to pass until using some more force and if they do the chairs will drop down creating noise enough for them to woke up and get alerted.

This took some energy out of everyone and they get back to rest a bit but now the main stuff was needed do and it was cleaning.
