The moment the explosion happened, everyone going in that bus saw it happen as they heard the big blowing up sound and the shoke wave was felt by them that much far away. The moment everyone thought that they are about to die because of the ice crack opening, the water came inside breaking through the ice at a massive volume. So he realised that he doesn't have an id nor a passport neither does he have a driving license.
