Chapter: *Severely* *Damaged*
Countless streams of light converged into a gigantic pathway in the skies, the residents of a town raised their heads into the skies. This blinding light was almost rivaling the intense sunlight in the skies and it was very eye-catching.Suddenly, the pathway shuddered tremendously and exploded into motes of light, dissipating in the air.Three strange figures fell from the explosion, smoke rising from their bodies, forming a trail as they fell.# THUDD!They crashed into a building, kicking up thick smokes of dust and wreckage. The residents of the building screamed in alarm and people gathered around immediately.Suddenly, they all gave way to a black robed, old man looking like he was in his sixties, his back was hunched but the powerful undulations of a yellow ranker could be felt on him, his white eyebrows were very droopy and his eyelids had almost covered his eyes as if he was asleep. The man placed his hand behind his back and walked rather slowly but the citizens were patient and their eyes glowed with fervor and reverence. This old man was the Town grand elder and the most knowledgeable and viewed as the wisest. The man walked to the front of the building and saw a huge dent of the ground, three charred figures laid there unconscious, smoke rose up from their bodies into the skies."Hmph? This powerful undulations!!" The man's eyes flashed open and a red glint flashed within. The citizens felt the strong fluctuations from the old man and moved back, afraid, something might happen."Listen everyone! This three people here shall be given the highest treatment here and should be treated as a grade 5 guest. Treat their wounds and give them our town's best medications, understood?" The man spoke authoritatively, his voice echoing into the distance.Immediately as if an imperial command, several youthful men in white picked up the three charred figures , their hands flashed into an incantation and bubbles appeared behind them, placed them in a purple bubble. The citizens gasped and looked at this figures in a different light."Could it be some powerful cultivators that met harm on the way?!""Grand Elder must be far-sighted to treat this people this way"They hurriedly took off into the town's hospital.........Meanwhile, ripples waves of news rocked the country. The first startling one was that, the gold-ranking President of the Sapa Nation had been attacked in his residence by the renowned Assassin Greenwood and some other mysterious people. But it didn't take too long before people found out the names of these people."Roy Kent, Sharon Madison and Parker Lasso" A red robed man gazed at a bounty poster. The pictures of Roy, Sharon and Parker was drawn right next to their names, a mind-blowing price of One million coins was offered for the head of each of them, either dead or alive.According to the news, the president had righteously apprehended this vile creature called Greenwood but the other three attackers had luckily escaped under his nose. But they have been issued as terrorist and should be treated as such, wanted in all major cities. This people were regarded as deadly, ruthless, sinful and vile in their practice and they must be eliminated along with their leader, Greenwood.Luckily for Roy, Sharon and Parker, the town was rather secluded in the country, it was almost akin to a village, hardly does major news reach them and even if it does, it would take several months. In a towering building that stretched into the skies, it's massive structure radiated an ancient aura, wafting out into it's surroundings. The structure was constructed out of marble, that shimmered with strange light. An enormous red cross was drawn on the surface of the building. It was spilling out a warm glow.Anyone that comes into this glow would feel revitalized, refreshed, clear-headed and even minor injuries would start rapidly healing. This building was naturally the general hospital of the town and it was said to be the oldest and longest standing building in the town.Parker groaned loudly and his eyelids fluttered before cracking open slowly, his body felt exhausted and so weak to the point, he could barely raise a finger.Parker's entire view was covered in white and he strangely found himself in a room, laying on a bed."Uhm.. Where am I?" Parker asked a nurse busy scribbling some texts on a paper. The nurse abruptly raised her head and looked at Parker excited."Mister, Don't worry, you're in the Obsong town beside the White mountain valley, not too far from the Thunder city" The nurse replied sweetly, beaming from ear to ear."Obsong town?" Parker was puzzled, he had never heard of this town and this was his first time."In Sapa Nation?" Parker had to be certain, he was still within home borders, if not, foreign land was very dangerous."Yes. Please, rest a little, I will go look for doctor quickly" The nurse didn't notice the confused tone in Parker's voice and rushed out.Parker laid on the bed with his eyes closed, the last thing, he remembered was his body being tossed into the spatial disc Greenwood had activated. The void space had crumbled into nothingness and spatial maelstroms was devouring everything, the spatial light covered him and his body felt like he was being forcefully stretched and warped, this spatial travel was even more powerful and much more stress placed on his body.Successive explosions sounded out within the spatial light, pushing them through space. It felt as if something was intending to destroy the spatial channel and the resulting shuddering and violent shockwave knocked him out, everything going dark. Now, the next time, he opened his eyes, he was in a strange and mysterious town, he hadn't heard before but thankfully, he was still within the Sapa Nation. Powerful spatial travels like this are very unpredictable due to the instability of the spatial channel and the explosions.Parker wondered if Roy and Sharon had survived but from his memory, he was certain, Greenwood didn't follow them, he sacrificed himself for them to escape, he drew their attention to himself then activated the spatial disc simultaneously, that way, the mere clone of the president would be hard-k to even react on time.Chapter: *Gathering*In a vast space, towering trees and scattered rocks covered this plain, breaking the resplendent rays of the sunlight. A gigantic metallic grey mansion stood on the precipice of a mountain, thick miasmic fog of clouds enshrouded it's surroundings, multiple colors of light flickered on it's color, giving it a mysterious look. If one looked at it from afar, it looked like it was floating in the air. It exuded a terrifying presence, even a silver ranker wouldn't dare approach this mansion casually, it looked akin to an ancient primordial beast, infact, anyone below gold-ranker couldn't come 15 metres close to the mansion, an invisible pressure would push the person out. What was even more shocking was the horrifying fluctuations of multiple gold-rankers coming from the insides. In an extremely decorated room, multiple jade crystals were imbedded in the walls, sending out it's colored light spilling across the room. Seven figures sat down around a long tabl
Chapter: *Hidden* *Agenda*Royal prince Seyi stroked his chin thoughtfully."The Royal capitol will help you investigate and quell some of your troubles, this is you having our backing openly but the only catch is, we get 10% more resources shipped into our kingdom" Seyi gazed at the President with a smile. The President's facial muscles twitched uncontrollably, as if he's about to burst but he managed to suppress it and took a deep breath. 'Hmph. You bunch of scoundrels, exploiting me in my moment of weakness, if not because of Sapa Nation is significantly divided, your royal capitol wouldn't even be qualified to have a trade deal with us'.The president gritted his teeth. "Deal!" The President managed to say. Royal Prince Seyi naturally knew what he was thinking but he merely smiled. Afterall, they were all adept schemers and taking advantage of another is the most appropriate thing to do in this situation, it's a dog eat dog world. Only the strongest gets to make a decis
Chapter: *Syrie*"Terrorist? Give me full details, Ignox" A slight crease furrowed the head doctor's brows, he reclined on his chair, a spark of light seemingly igniting in his eyes. "Ahem! The three mysterious people in your hospital sir are named Sharon Madison, Parker Lasso and Roy Kent. They allegedly attacked the President in his secret meditation chamber with the infamous Greenwood but thankfully, the president prevailed and captured Greenwood. Alas, the other three escaped and are now seen in this territory, heavily injured. There's no mistaking it, sir. The president has issued a bounty on their heads" Ignox quickly explained in detail, his expression respectful and indifferent. Ignox held not just respect for this man but more apparent is fear, terrifying and bone-deep fear rooted in him. There was no doubt, Ignox knew the monstrous background this man came from. He had simply came to this town to gain worldly experience and not even the village head knew of his backgrou
Chapter: *Offer*Roy assessed his current condition and didn't know whether to laugh or cry. But thinking about it logically, his life and death was indeed within this man's hand. If he was at his peak condition, perhaps he had a chance of resisting the man and even successfully escape with his life intact. But as it is, he couldn't even muster a hundredth of his strength, he was almost no different from a regular human. Just slightly stronger but this little bit of strength is negligible. "Very well. Apart from getting cover from the presidential gaze, what else do I get in return?" Roy has sense an elaborate scheme in this and he was just going to be one of the little pieces. "Well, as an honorary guest of my clan, anywhere you go, you will reserve preferential treatment and we assure you cultivation resources but pertaining to the merits you have performed for the clan. And if you add the cover up then it isn't a bad offer, no?" Syrie leaned against the wall. The smile of h

The white haired man named Hiruzen raised his head and the phantom like expanse of the universe behind his back disappeared, his expression eased up a bit and became more gentle. "And we ain't a pushover, we have been existing in this sapa nation since time immemorial, almost as long as the imperial family. Talking about history, we have the deepest save the imperial family. If he thinks, he can leisurely pin some blames on us then he's sorely mistaken" A terrifying glint seemingly exploded from his eyes, causing those around to shiver subconsciously. "Indeed but I don't think, we can go head-to-head with the President just yet. The President had manag
Chapter: *Moving* *On*Thomas rubbed his chin in thought, it seems, he was struggling with something within him. "Fine! I will double your fee, Mr. Thomas. Don't you dare push it!" Hiruzen sighed. This Thomas has always been a reliable source of Intel for the family for more than a decade now but he had never accepted the multiple offers to be a part of it and the reason was because, Thomas love staying on the sideline, if he joined the Lasso family then he would be forced to interfere in any of their personal matters and this is something, he chose not to do. But this doesn't stop him from giving out information once in a while, Thomas is one of the most rooted members of the society with expanded influence into the government, sects, families and all. Chapter: *An* *Unexpected* *Guest*Parker immediately somersaulted in the air and landed, blood streaking out of the corner of his lips, an unmasked fear covered his expression. His internal organs was almost out of place and the tremendous force was still rattling through his body, Parker quickly steadied his breathe and regulated his internal energy to suppress the force, causing his face to turn almost pale blue. However, Sharon and Roy Kent fared worse, they laid on the ground, almost unconscious and bleeding from all orifices, especially the newly recovered Roy, his breathe was ragged but he managed to keep his eyes and consciousness active by biting his bottom lips deeply till blood dripped downwards, further staining his robes. The explosion kicked off a blinding dirt and dust, leveling the surroundings into nothingness, after the dust had settled, Syrie's figure appeared very distinct and less hazy than it was when the dust covered everywhere. A gigantic wall
A new beginningA childlike blue figure with a humanoid appearance was washing its face in a crystal clear river, mumbling some swear words in the process."What do I have that others do not possess? Why always me and no one else? Why do I have to carry these burdens all by myself…" balfrog was squatting by the river, busy complaining about his bad luck when he saw a giant body drifting slowly in the river. He ignored the body at first, but his golden eyes flashed with a strange light when he saw the floating man move slightly."My luck is not that bad I think, hahaha…the river gods finally smiled at me. I finally found someone to shift all this bad luck to." Balfrog, with open arms, faced the sky and laughed like a mad man…ahem…a mad child.Water splashed everywhere as he ran toward his God-sent helper. When he finally got near him, he dragged the floating man ashore, with all the strength he could muster."Why is he this heavy?
