CHAPTER 232

After reaching the Gospel Hospital, Rebecca scampered out of the car first. Benjamin and Shadow, however, still sat there, looking at each other through the small mirror.

“Whose idea was it to establish a company?” Benjamin’s voice was so chilling the mirror cracked a little. “Yours or my Dad’s?”

“What company? It’s all part of the test, my lord,” Shadow quickly replied, as fright bubbled up his stomach.

“And you expect me to believe that?” Benjamin rolled his eyes. “I no longer trust you or my father for that matter.”

“How can you say that, my lord?’ Shadow jumped to the front seat and held Benjamin’s hands. “I’m your dog. I wouldn’t leave your side even if you beat me close to death.”

“Your words and actions contradict each other,” Benjamin pushed Shadow’s hands away. “The word of an unstable man is a bundle of water, Benyamin. You should choose one side instead of jumping back and forth… for your own peace. Even if you try and tempt Rebecca using all your means, I’m sure she won’t
