CHAPTER 234

Before she realized, Kathy ended up screaming, which she wished she hadn’t.

“Sir Ryan, you should hide somewhere,” Kathy warned him before rushing into the building. She was planning to escape from the backside without informing the maids or Louis and his family. There were the hired men working with Akash and Veronica on the lawn, decorating for the upcoming party. They should buy her enough time, she thought.

Meanwhile, Veronica and Akash just stood there in shock while the other workers around them started running already.

“Don’t let anyone escape!” Dewar roared. “Kill them all.”

His words sent chills down Akash’s spine, and he found himself shivering, but Veronica grabbed a couple of metal rods and gave him one.

“Y-You want to fight that many?” Akash was shocked. “Are you crazy?”

“You got a better solution?”

“Let’s run!” Akash grabbed her hand. “If we can jump over the wall, we might just—”

Veronica thrust the metal rod in his face, bruising his nose.

“What the hell was that for?”
