CHAPTER 466
Veronica had always wanted to prove herself by getting a decent-paying job, so that her family members would give her some respect and don’t just treat her like a forever-child. However, hoping to get a job proved infinitely much easier than actually getting one that she believed she deserved.

She used to love playing drums when she was young, but she didn’t pursue her interest to become a rock star because she didn’t want to leave home and go on tour all the time. It was too much work, she believed. Why work so hard when she could already go on a vacation once or twice every week?

Most of her friends usually took over their family businesses and became doctors, lawyers, or started their own companies with the money they took from their parents. But what should Veronica do when she didn’t even really know what she was truly passionate about?
