CHAPTER 495

There was no one else in sight except for Rebecca on that road. Ian was grinning as the car accelerated and was about to hit Rebecca. But suddenly, something happened, and he couldn’t see Rebecca in front of the car anymore. He didn’t feel like he hit her, either.

He stopped the car and looked back. She was nowhere to be seen. “What the hell?” He stepped out and looked under the car just to make sure she wasn’t there. He put his hands on his head, unable to process what just happened.

In the alley nearby.

Louis put Rebecca down. “That was really close. If I hadn’t stepped in, you would be dead by now.”

Rebecca was in shock. She couldn’t believe that Ian tried to hit her with the car. She knew he was trash, but not to this extent.

“You stay here. I’ll deal with that guy,” Louis said, bringing his claws out.

Rebecca grabbed his hand. “He’s drunk. That’s why he…”

Louis coldly glanced at her. “You really think that’s the case? To my eyes, he’s pretty sane, Rebecca.” He shook his hand out
