CHAPTER 556

The storm was going strong. Many of the plants in the garden of the villa got uprooted and swept away, but surprisingly the grass was still able to stay where it was.

Uzza was sitting on the balcony, under an extended ceiling, so that she stayed just out of the reach of the rain.

“It’s funny how the big things fall first when the storm hits,” she thought to herself while drinking sweet and hot almond milk that went well with the rain.

Amber and Kathy were wondering from the inside of the building why Uzza was sitting outside in such harsh weather.

“Isn’t she afraid of getting hit by an object that comes flying in the wind?” Kathy blurted.

“I would be. It’s better to stay indoors in this weather. She’s either reckless or just plain stupid,” Amber commented.

“How long is this rain going to be there?”

“I don’t know, but I heard that woman saying it will last for a day or two.”
