In the Sehla estate.

Andrew Sehla’s second granddaughter Katherine came home from school in the afternoon itself, looking moderately angry. “I thought Lisa would come to the school at least today, after the storm had passed, but no, she still didn’t come, Mom,” she was telling to her mother Kismet, whose right half of the face was paralyzed due to her own mishap.

“Be patient, Kat,” Kismet spoke with effort. Her voice was not clear or pretty as it used to be because she couldn’t move her mouth properly anymore. She couldn’t even look at herself in the mirror anymore because half of her face looked ugly, in the sense that it was not responding to her thoughts. Her right eyelid wasn’t moving up and down. And she struggled a lot to chew food. In the past, she took chewing for granted, but now, she had to spend an hour eating just a little bit of food.

All this pain she was going through every second of life today, she wanted all of the Sterling family to pay for it!
