“Do what you want. If you die, it’s not on me,” Oliver said. “There are cameras, so I can prove my innocence if the blame is shifted onto me.” He then went to the dorms.

Benjamin walked away from the cage and sat down on the grass at a distance. The dogs were still growling and barking at him.

A few minutes passed, but the dogs still didn’t settle down on their bellies.

“A doberman, a pitbull, and two german shepherds,” Benjamin began to cut the grass with his fingers. “It just happened to be a full moon tonight. Is that why you four look so aggressive right now? But the moon isn’t even here yet, so I take it you don’t like me.”

He stopped cutting the grass.

“So far apart we are, yet so close we get when my eyes close,” he shut his eyes and smiled. “Let us be sweet to each other, my love.”

He then opened his eyes and blew air on the grass, making the cut grass fly away. And before him was now Rebecca’s picture on the grass.
