CHAPTER 829

Sizzle was peeling the fruits for Uzza in the backyard of the Sterling villa.

Uzza was sitting not far from the place where Samuel was buried. “I don’t see any movement of the soil. It might take another day or two for him to come out. If he doesn’t come out even then, it means he’s worthy of his death.”

“Lady Uzza…” Sizzle hesitantly asked, “can I eat one banana?”

“Hmph, look the other way and eat,” Uzza said.

“Thank you,” Sizzle smiled, then turned the other way and ate three bananas. He then turned back, and she was glaring at him. “S-Sorry, madam. I was hungry, so I ate more. I will definitely buy more bananas later.”

“Buy perfectly ripe ones,” she said.

“You can break my bones if you’re not satisfied,” Sizzle resolutely stated.

A few seconds of silence passed.

“Madam, I’ve been wondering about it,” Sizzle said. “Why is Lady Rye trying so hard for Benjamin in a passive manner? Will she be able to change his mind with mere words and just by being around him?”

Uzza smiled somewhat.
