Scot sat in his office, staring at the stack of documents in front of him. The divorce papers felt like a looming presence, something he couldn't escape no matter how much he tried to distract himself with work. It had been weeks since he officially filed for divorce, and the tension between him and Jane had escalated to unbearable levels.
