Into the light

The obsidian spire loomed before Aria and Nalia, a twisted monument to the corrupting power of the Noctis Sigil. Its surface seemed to writhe and pulse with a malevolent energy, the air around it thick with the whispers of tortured souls and the stench of decay.

Aria could feel the pull of the darkness, its seductive call whispering at the edges of her mind, promising power and release from the burdens of her sacred duty. But she steeled herself against its insidious influence, focusing instead on the steadfast presence of Nalia at her side and the warm glow of the light within her own heart.

"Remember, Aria," Nalia murmured, her voice low and urgent as they approached the base of the spire. "The Sigil will seek to prey upon your doubts, your fears, and your darkest desires. It will try to twist your perceptions, to make you see only shadow and despair where once there was light and hope. You must be strong, must hold fast to the truth of who you are and what you stand for."
