Luke and Adam's days went by like this. Adam felt that each day brought him closer to death, but he also felt that he was closer to the power he craved. It was only because of this that he was able to endure this hellish training.

The effects of the training were obvious. Although he had not been able to kill a Spark Leopard on his own, the wounds he had received had been greatly reduced. During these days, he had also learned to use World Energy with the thunder element to attack without the need for spells.

The reason he was unable to inflict more damage on the Spark Leopards had less to do with his fighting prowess and more to do with the fact that he was only at the Second Rank. Still, Luke was pleased with the progress Adam was making these days.
