Second Chance as an Elf

Ch 1: 5 years later

“What the hell is going on here? Who is this man with long ears?”

Dalton says if he can actively talk, but can not such given someone like him has now been born again as a baby yet to learn the basics of speaking, walking, and other things when growing.

Right this moment what confused him the most is how come he isn’t in a place with flames and things that look monstrous with horns and tails to torture Dalton.

Instead, there was this weird-looking guy with black hair that liked the night sky and ears that were not like those of human ears he was seeing closely.

“Hold on there no sound coming out of my mouth and my body. How come it is Held like this by this guy?"

Dalton started to gather question after question in his head that required an answer.

At the time there was the sound of a door opening where 3 fingers entered inside.

"Father is it alright to see our new baby brother or sister

"Who could it be this time?" Dalton wanders right as the person holding him starts to move.

"Come you three and meet your new baby brother."

Utebarr shows those others that walk in Dalton who come to see more of them only this time the hairs were different. 2 males had black hair like that of the one that got him and the 1 female hair wasn't the same because it looked to be gold which was an amazing thing to stare at.

"Oh God, where am I? They all have the same long ears." Dalton thought.

"Oh shoot, that's not fair, I was hoping for a sister."

"Sadly sister you could not wish for something impossible to come true to your desire as it happens in its way."

One of the 2 males says to the female.

"Even if you're right, I am mad as now being completely out number three to one."

"Now Adneun you don't need to feel that way besides this little one here going to need his big sister to be there for him.”

Utebarr says to his daughter patting her on the head with one hand while still holding Dalton in the other.

"Yeah that is important, at least I get to be the big sister to the new baby. Oh right, have the two of you name our new brother to call him by."

Adneun asks and Utebarr starts to bring Dalton to his wife Adraah who is now the one to be holding him.

"Adneun is correct on that we haven't decided a name ready for when this one is born given that it came to sudden arrival."

"Yeah this one was ready quicker than our other children, but I am sure the two of us could come to name him at this moment."

"Name me to hold up, have I somehow been reborn to look like them?"

Dalton finds himself in a state of shock at that thought.

"How about Ethons," Adraah said. There was a cheerful tone in that voice.

"Ethons, a name like that sounds right for this boy. I just somehow have to feel something that goes for the young one."

"Yes, a name that I am sure will be known to all just like the rest of loving children."

Adraah says as she and the husband look at their new son along with their children doing the same. Dalton was not getting weirded out by them all looking at him.

"So this is my second chance at a life, but why what I have done and how I ended myself shouldn't allow me to be born again or how is this possible."

《5 years later deep in the forest》

"Come on Ethons you going too far away from our home and stop making it hard for me to catch up."

"Hey don't blame me Naruth. It's not my fault you're slow to keep up."

He says to the elf girl following behind as Ethons enjoys himself jumping from one tree to the next, not messing up to falling from the height that he was in.

A good long 5 years went by fast where he got to learn much about this new life of his.

Firstly was that Ethons Is an elf which was a big change for him to accept along with having the same hair color as his new mother with the ears of course and the new name that this guy is going to have to get used to hearing.

At times when someone is calling him, there is no response because of how he is used to his old name as that was what he was called when human.

A new family was another shock having Adraah and Utebarr to be his new parents. 2 brothers Rarilt and Ulaslurr and 1 sister Adneun.

Then more new learning experience comes from this wonderful yet strange world he has been brought into.

It felt to Ethons that he was put In some fantasy world that was like that of a book or game.

"Why must you keep doing this going out in the forest this far."

Naruth complains while doing her best to keep up.

"Because I like to go on adventures and it's boring to just hang back home with the others doing nothing fun."

"This is why you keep getting in trouble with your father."

"Say the daughter of our queen shouldn't you be a good little elf girl and not tag along with a troublemaker like me."

Ethons says right as he laughs afterward, but there was the truth as Naruth's mother was the queen of the wood elves that live in these parts.

He found that to be interesting given that somehow them being wooded elves

"Who else is going to make sure that you don't do anything dangerously stupid when one is your own."

"Oh come on Naruth do you honestly think that of me."

Ethons stops to ask, facing her and only gets a look that says yes without the girl needing to open her mouth.

"Alright, guess what you do that hurts my feelings."

"Well not my fault, anyway we are done playing on the trees."

"Yeah, we are letting go."

Ethons and Naruth got themselves carefully done onto the ground of the forest.

"How far have you gotten us?" She asked looking around the area they were in the forest.

"I don't know, I was just going with the flow."

"You're telling me that we may be lost at this moment."

Ethons shrugs his shoulders at her which causes the elf girl to get mad. Right at the time, there were sounds of movement around the two.

"Oh no, that is not good to hear."

"No kidding, there is something here with us."
