Joanna lay on her bed, face on her pillow, tears rolling down her eyes. She has sent numerous text messages but Damien has not replied to any. It was night time now and he was not back yet. She even tried to track his location but his phone was switched off.

The last place she saw was him being a restaurant but after that, there was nothing on him. She was losing it with each passing second. Eventually, she turned around, staring at the ceiling while lying on her back. She tried to see the good in this, but it was hard.

She loved Damien. She always had and even though she gave up when he got married, she still loved him. The moment she knew he was divorced, she believed they had a chance again to make things right. She believed they could be together.
