Chapter seventy two

Melissa watched her husband leave the house for whatever it was that had gotten his attention.

They were finally done with their lunch in the dining room and were now settled in the palace sized living room, watching a movie on the very big TV plastered on the wall.

"Melissa, when we are done here, I would like you to show me around the house." Modrich requested, his gaze fixed on the beautiful decorations of the house. They were far more expensive and exquisite than what he was used to.

"What about those jeweleries you spoke about, when are you going to get them for me?" Mrs. Kingston asked her daughter with a mouthful of cake.

After lunch, the maids had served them another round of vanilla cake and juice for desserts.

"I'm going to get them soon, mum. You do not have to worry." She assured her mother as she had decided that she was going to inform Jackson about the ornate jewelries she had requested that he get for her.
