Chapter 16.

It was a Saturday morning and George was pacing in his bedroom.

Before his birthday and after his birthday, he had not heard from his grandmother.

For some months now, he hadn't bothered to visit her because of how busy he had been. George was happy that he would finally get to visit her since she lived in the same city as Anna's foster parents.

His grandmother had been a help to him too after his father cast him out of the house, she was the one who handed him over to Anna's grandfather and went ahead to move out of their family Villa because she wasn't in support of what his father did.

While thinking about this, the memory of him asking Anna to spend time with him flashed in his head and he closed his eyes, in dismay.

"It was hurtful." He said to himself, weirdly. Anna had insulted him to the nines and he felt like disappearing on his birthday.

It was one of the most dreaded days of his life.
