Chapter 33.

After George got home, he met Anna sleeping on the couch in the living room. She must have been stressed. He didn't bother to wake her.

He walked into the kitchen and dished food from the microwave himself. After eating, he took a blanket from their big-sized bed and laid it on her, ensuring she didn't feel any sort of cold.

He entered the bathroom and took a quick bath. While he was in the bathroom, his mind went to the way Austin ignored him earlier, he felt rejected. Anna was the only person that made him stay and endure.

After bathing, he changed into his nightwear and slept with the bed lamp on.

George's phone rang in the early hours of the morning. He rubbed the sleep from his eyes and answered groggily.

"George, it's Sir Matt. I need you to do me a favor," the voice on the other end of the line said urgently.

"Of course, Sir Matt. What do you need?" George replied, now fully awake.
