Mr. Tucker's knees were shaking as he made his way to the arena. He raised his head to look in Henry's direction, but surprisingly, his son was already back on his feet. He paused when he saw the deadly look on Henry's face. Something was different about him. He was like a hungry lion ready to devour his prey.
“Henry,”
he muttered to himself.
Henry stood up with deadly eyes focused on Derek, who was still unaware of his movement. He quickly finished the system drills and acquired his physical skills, but he still couldn't use all of them. There were some that would drain all his energy immediately after activation, but the ones he had now would be enough to defeat this bastard.
“He is awake.”
“How is this possible?”
“Does this bastard have a death wish?”
Derek's eyebrows slowly pushed down as he heard the crowd's words. He was puzzled by their reaction. He knew Henry wouldn't be able to move for now, or he could possibly be dead. After all, he was an E rank mage, and even a C rank mage wouldn't be able to withstand his powerful attacks.
He, however, turned to see what was causing the crowd to make noise. His mouth fell open when he saw Henry standing straight as if he hadn't suffered any damage from his earlier impact.
‘What is this?’
Before Derek could understand what was happening, Henry appeared in front of him.
“Fire Burst.”
Henry smashed his flaming fist into Derek's face. The explosion flung Derek toward the wall. His back slammed against it, and he fell to the ground immediately. He wasn't expecting the attack, and Henry had moved with just one blink. How was that possible? Derek couldn't comprehend it.
Everybody was shocked by Henry's movement. Mr. Dawson paused while watching the scene again. He couldn't believe this bastard was still standing. What would it take to bring this stubborn rat down?
“Finish him, Derek! Finish him!”
He screamed.
Derek managed to stand back on his feet. He couldn't humiliate himself like this. Henry was a fool for waiting for him to get back up. He wouldn't get such an opportunity again. He wiped the little blood on his lips. Surprisingly, Henry's attack was more powerful than before.
“You are finished.”
He angrily stepped forward, but his heart seized when he saw Henry had disappeared from his earlier position.
Where did he go?
His body was trembling with fear as he searched for Henry. His heart jumped when somebody tapped him on the shoulder from behind.
“Coward!”
Henry roared immediately after Derek faced him. Before Derek could blink, Henry's Fire Burst attack landed on his face. He staggered backward from the impact. He almost fell to the ground, but he managed to hold himself back. If he fell again, everyone would laugh at him.
Derek kept his body steady, but Henry was once again in front of him.
“Fire Burst.”
Henry struck Derek on his left cheek. Derek's face bent to the right, and he spat blood out. His body was aching with pain, but Henry didn't give him the chance to recover.
“Explosion.”
Henry pushed the fireball attack into Derek's stomach. The impact cracked Derek's armor, and he coughed out blood immediately. He fell to his knees and almost collapsed completely, but his hands managed to support his body from falling.
Derek breathed heavily as he coughed out more blood. He couldn't believe Henry's strength. How could an E rank mage be this powerful? He was a B rank mage. He shouldn't even be sweating during this battle, but he was now on his knees with no hope of winning.
This wasn't right. What was happening?
The crowd couldn't believe how the fight had turned around. They doubted their eyes, but they knew they were seeing the truth.
“Cheater!”
Someone among the crowd shouted. There had to be an explanation for this, and he found one.
“He purposely let Sir Derek exhaust his skills before he started fighting. This fight is unfair!”
Everybody supported him immediately. Lora couldn't believe their words. Her brother was fighting without any armor or magic equipment, and they dared to call him a cheater.
“Henry! You don't need a suit or magic equipment to beat this weakling. You are unstoppable!”
Her voice silenced the crowd. They shut their mouths, feeling ashamed of themselves. They couldn't pretend they didn't see what Derek was wearing, but nobody said Henry couldn't use any of it. He was simply poor, and that was why he had nothing on.
Derek's fist was shaking as he listened to the crowd's words. He had to put this loser to the ground for his father's dignity and his own pride.
“Mega Skill: Flame Aura.”
Derek slowly stood to his feet. The surroundings became intense from his aura, and the skill was more powerful than before. He faced Henry and muttered.
“Cripple Brother.”
He launched his second attack immediately after he finished speaking.
“Mega Skill: Blazing Fist.”
Mr. Dawson's cheeks moved when he saw Derek was back on his feet. He couldn't believe this bastard had actually put up a good fight, but it was over now. The land was finally his.
Just as the impact was about to be made, the valiant Henry, who refused to move from his spot, muttered.
“Fire Chain.”
Eight chains immediately surged from his body and bound Derek. His eyes shot open as he saw the outcome of his attack. Before he could comprehend it, Henry touched him on the shoulder.
“Mega Skill: Combustion!”
Derek's body was immediately set ablaze with violent flames. His armor turned red, and if its quality wasn't top-notch, it could have scattered into pieces.
“Aaaaaaaaaaaaaah!”
Derek screamed as he fell to the ground from the powerful burst of fire inside his body. Everybody was shocked to see Henry could use a mega skill when his level was still one. They tried to accept the fact, but Henry wasn't done yet.
Henry appeared in the air next. Mr. Dawson fell to the ground with his jaws touching the floor. What was this?
Henry immediately launched his second mega skill.
“Fire Storm!”
A conjured lightning bolt made of fire formed in Henry's hands, and he sent it with force in Derek's direction. The attack moved with immense speed. Derek couldn't do anything. He could only watch as the bolt's attack crushed him into the ground.
He passed out immediately after the impact landed, and the force raised dust that covered the whole arena.
Everybody paused. Their mouths were wide enough to swallow a soccer ball, and they refused to close. They couldn't believe what they had just witnessed.
How did an E rank mage defeat a B rank mage?
The dust slowly faded away, and Henry was seen placing his foot on Derek's face. His armor was scattered into pieces, even his clothes were gone, and it was
clear that he had passed out or was possibly dead.
Henry faced the crowd with an evil smile on his face.
“I won.”

These humans are bastards
Lora was shaking in her spot when Diego turned to face her. She subconsciously stepped backwards in fear, and an evil smile crept onto Diego's face.He said as he slowly approached Lora.“There is no need to step backwards, little lamb. There is nowhere you can run to that I can't run to as well. I know you are afraid of dying, but that was your fate the moment you were born as a human being. If you were born as monster, that would've been different. You would've been strong and immune to death.Your friend over there fought a good fight, but he still ended up dying.”Diego stopped approaching and continued.“Monsters do die, so you don't think am not being obvious of the hundreds of monsters that have died on this very ground, but just as hundreds of monsters have died on this floor, over a million humans have died on this ground as well.So you can see that the numbers are not worth an argument. The monsters that fell into the hands of humans are simply the ones that couldn't work

She held her breathing and focused all her energy in her ears, she was trying to
Our Source Of Strength!
Ava straightened up on her spot at that moment. She had practically just frozen time. Her freezing skill caused everything under her territory to be unable to move, unless the thing had a stronger aura than her.Although Helen was strong, she was stronger than Helen and she wanted Helen to realize that before killing her. Freezing Helen was one of them, the second was killing Helen without Helen being able to do anything. The dark blades on the sky started circling at that moment and with each passing second they were circling faster than before.“This is what true power really looks like Helen, it's not about pushing yourself back to your feet, it's about being in control of everything and never for once falling to your knees!”The moment Ava said the words. She snapped her fingers towards Helen.“You tried to attain something you are not, but are still just a human being. This is where it ends human creation!”The dark blades instantly covered Helen at that moment. Helen did freeze
The superior Being Always Wins
According to everything this human should be dead already. Ava couldn't believe what was happening in front of her. Helen was standing fully despite the large wounds on her stomach, and Ava could tell that Helen had several broken bones inside her body, not to talk about the amount of blood Helen had lost.It was too true to believe in Ava's eyes. To her Helen had developed into something else.Something that scattered all her ideology and calculation about humans to the ground.“There is no way I am giving up in this lifetime!”Helen coughed out a mouthful of blood as she took a different stance from the one she took when she stood up.“Water control: a million slashes!”Immediately Helen triggered the skill, the whole surroundings started experiencing a shock wave, that even Ava subconsciously stepped backwards out of fear. She stood when she noticed that she just stepped backwards out of fear and her eyes burst open in shock. Not only was Helen able to stand up to her feet, she ha

I will just end your life right away, put you away from this delusion of a miracle happening”Ava moved her hands and her dark form of energy started forming in front of her.“I am alive when I am on my feet.”Helen suddenly voiced out at that moment, causing Ava to stop the skill she was about to unleash.“You finally gave up”Ava said with a big smile on her face, but her smile slowly faded away when Helen started pressing her hands on the floor to stand up once again.cough!Cough!Cough!Helen coughed several mouthfuls of blood as she tried to make it back to her feet.“There is a chance of winning if I am on my feet.”Helen said and she coughed out blood again and again. Ava's smiling face had disappeared at this moment. Instead she had a face of astonishment. Given Helen's wounds, she should
I Refuse This Ending
‘This can't be the end, not after everything I have been through. I refuse this ending. I refuse to accept this ending’ ‘My life can't end this way!’ Helen tried to stand up to her feet once more, but she fell to the ground again. She had been beaten to a pulp by the monster, Ava, who was standing right in front of her. ‘Shit!’ Helen cursed as her body let her down once more. She fell flat on the ground when she tried to stand up again. Her hands couldn't support her motion anymore, and her legs were vibrating inside. There was no way she would be able to walk on her feet even if she was to stand up halfway. Helen buried her face on the ground at that moment. ‘I don't accept this. I don't accept this at all. BUT MY BODY WON'T MOVE!’ She said with tears streaming down her face. ‘I reject this! I reject this ending! BUT THERE IS NOTHING I CAN DO!” “Why, Why, Why, WHY! WHY DOES IT ALWAYS HAS TO BE LIKE THIS!’ ‘I am an S ranked mage for crying out loud. How could I still be bow
