Chapter 95

Henry's footsteps moved backward systematically. His instincts told him it would be better if Lily didn't know that he overheard her conversation with Catherine Wilson.

After taking a few steps back, Henry found himself outside the restroom. Intentionally, he called Lily with a slightly raised voice.

"Are you in there, Lily?" Henry shouted from outside the women's restroom area.

"Henry!"

Lily's joyful scream echoed as she rushed out of the restroom and embraced Henry, who stood in front of her.

In that moment, Henry felt the cold sensation of Lily's wet clothes. He lowered his head, gently loosening the hug. Anticipating Henry's action, Lily quickly pulled him into another embrace.

"Don't look at my face; I look ugly right now. I'm embarrassed to show my ugly face to you," Lily said, pushing her head against Henry's chest playfully.

"You know I can't believe those words, right, honey?" Henry asked with a somewhat flat tone.
