A Compatibility of Strength

There's no point for Zerlan to keep complaining, he wants to quickly find out the reason behind the destruction of Vofuri Village.

On the hill he looked out over the village. "Goodbye Naila!"

Don't know where Zerlan should go, he was only able to follow the wind.

He had been walking for about two days, his goal was now to visit a city called Nanzazura. The city has a fairly large population, there are many species like elves and beast humans.

Zerlan looked at his stomach. “Why should I be hungry at a time like this!” He decided to look for food while resting his legs which were quite tired from walking.

Zerlan chose a shop selling food like dango.

"Welcome!" said the tavern owner, his face so serious as he looked at Zerlan.

“I want to order food!”

"Okay, you choose a seat!"

There were only a few tables with chairs, and it was quite crowded. Arzlan chose the most corner seat, for him such a location was comfortable to calm his mind.

Arzlan looked around, there was no suspicious person. He couldn't stop being wary, Pandora's words signaled that he would soon be a target of the people who were after Cearuleus.

"Here!"

Due to being too tense, Zerlan was surprised by the pounding of the food bowl. Several pieces of bulb have been served with brown gravy which is served as a sweetness enhancer.

Zerlan's mouth began to insert the one bulb, the sweetness in it spread very quickly. His tongue was wagging with a taste he rarely found.

“Mmm… what is this? Why does this food have such a sweet texture!”

Someone wearing a caps looked at Zerlan cynically, then she go and left the money on the table.

"Thank You!" said the tavern owner.

No answer.

For 30 minutes Zerlan was in the tavern, even though only a few pieces were enough to make his stomach feel full of the food.

“Huh… this food is really good, I guess there's really no need to complain about what's going on right now!” Zerlan left some bronze coins as he said, “Thanks for the food!”

Zerlan this time had to pass the forest area again, in the previous city there was nothing he could do. Discovering the mystery about the destruction of his village is quite tiring.

Whoosh!!!

A strange voice sounded and right in front of Zerlan was standing someone with a cap covering part of her face.

The person directed a sharp gaze at Zerlan.

"Who is this person? Why does she have such a large aura?”

A strange flow could be seen by Zerlan especially on that sword on the person's back, the greenish aura continued to vaporize like smoke.

“Could it be that this person is…”

“I want to ask you a question!” said the person, the tone of voice that sounded a woman.

Slightly surprising Zerlan, the girl also raised her eyes which emitted a thousand aura quite strong.

“Why do you have that sword!” continued she.

Zerlan glanced at the sword on his back. "As I thought, she must be attracted by this sword!" Zerlan sighed. "What's your business with this sword?" he said in a firm tone.

Slowly narrowed her eyes. “That sword has such a great aura, could you be one of them!”

"Uh? One of them?" Zerlan was confused with the girl's words.

However, the girl was sure that Zerlan was one of the people she hated. A swift attitude was taken by the girl, she on state ready meant that she could swing a sword at any time.

"I do not know what you mean!"

"Don't joke..."

The atmosphere became silent, they looked at each other seriously.

Whoosh!!!

In just a few seconds the girl was in front of Zerlan's eyes, the sword on her back had swung towards Zerlan.

Swung!!!

Zerlan smoothly dodged the attack, the girl was silent with eyes glaring fiercely.

“H-How could he dodge my attack? I knew you were one of them!” The girl turned her body towards Zerlan with eyes that continued to radiate anger.

“Huh… my body is moving again, could it be because of this sword that I was able to dodge this girl attack?”

Zerlan felt an energy that continued to heat his back.

Whoosh!!!

Unexpectedly the girl back towards Zerlan with fast moving, she came with a sword that was launched at Zerlan.

Zerlan's right hand immediately gripped the hilt of the sword on his back then swung as a slash of death.

Things!!!

The girl jolted with a glaring face. “Who exactly is this guy? Why does he have such a great ability! But, why doesn't he continue his attack?”

Zerlan stood up straight. “So it's true that this sword has the power to control me, it looks like he really wants to fight this girl! Should I comply with these wishes?”

The girl was on alert, she saw that Zerlan had been acting strangely.

Zerlan decided to try using the sword, he wanted to see how great and skilled he was when he wielded the sword.

Whoosh!!!

Moving as lightning-fast he sped up, the slash unfortunately missed due to the target jumping sideways

“Uh… he's no ordinary person, I have to prepare for a tougher fight!” The girl straightened her sword at face level, her eyes slowly starting to close. “Wind Slash!”

A scythe-shaped blast of energy shot out at high speed, of course Zerlan didn't know what to do. It was the first time he had seen such energy like that.

"Uh!" In the midst of the ongoing tension, Cearuleus released a fairly high energy. Zerlan was able to sense the energy. “I see, you don't want to make me worry! Then prove that you are a great sword!”

Zerlan slashed the attack, a powerful wave was created hit everything around the area.

Even that girl had to cover her face from dust and other debris.

“N-No way!” After that happened she was surprised to see Zerlan who was still standing firmly.

Zerlan's eyes flashed a red light.

“This guy is not like a normal person!”

The increase in energy in Zerlan's body was so unnatural, it was like a different person.

Zerlan got into a stance ready to attack, a slash of black energy shot out.

The girl anticipated the same way Zerlan did. However, it is not easy. The attack she was holding had a very intensive pressure, it took quite a lot of energy for her to successfully throw the energy.

“Huh, huh, huh!” Immediately his body ran out of energy to stand she had to rely on the sword. "This is definitely not the level of an ordinary person, who is he really?"
