“Falling into the trap of taking drugs would be the biggest mistake you would ever make now that you are still young.” Detective Daniel counseled Robert, that Monday evening after he arrived home. The scene at the court that morning had been very emotional. And the court remained silent for seconds after Dave broke down and wept. Nicholas Dobson, even in his rigidity couldn't help himself from shedding tears, he was also broken. Billy wanted to stand up from where she was sitting and run to where Dave was standing at the witness box. She wanted to give him a tight hug and apologize on the behalf of herself and Nicholas Dobson. They had failed them as parents. She didn't know who to blame. Herself? Or Nicholas Dobson who abandoned them.“When addiction comes at times it comes With a hook. Detective Daniel said and continued. You cannot see it.
